The energy and vibeology of the members ideas, work, and connectivity. OPENESS is the order of the moment. And this aspect of interconnectedness is expressed through creativity and energy. We are a microcasm of the change we do want to see in the world.

We need to acknowledge the interdependence of our growth & consciousness with our survival as a species.

If we focus solely on our spiritual side, on making our lives more joyful, life gains meaning. This meaning can spread to those around us and we can further create a connected, mutually supportive environment where people grow. Yet, if we ignore the physical world: the political situation in the United States and the increasing environmental crisis, we do no more good then if we spent our time hiding in a cave.

If we focus solely on fighting the good fight, saving forests, fighting oppression, doing great good in the physical world, our labor is bent to make things better for those around us. Yet, if we ignore our spiritual health, if we sacrifice our joy, we will burn out and we will fail to invite others to our cause.

We must find balance between helping others in the physical world and giving equal weight to our own spiritual health and happiness. We must acknowledge that those who work in spirit and those who fight for justice are on the same side. As we free ourselves from polarization within our progressive movements, we can break through our polarization with those who are different than us.

Once we build common ground with conservatives, once we acknowledge that we share at least some values with the most extreme fundamentalists, then we take real steps towards building bridges. Once we see beyond the enemy images of the “other” we create the possibility of building bridges, of working together to create a world that works for all.

To grow, to learn, to care for people, to take care of myself, to stay in shape, to keep my weight under 140, to complement someone each day, to be tolerant, to not judge, to enjoy life to the fullest. To say thank you, for whatever flows into my life without a judgement call, and to seek simplicity in my life, and to be an example in my daily life.
