#YOGAforNEPAL, an initiative spearheaded by the Boulder yoga community and wellness companies, will host a series of in-person and online fundraising events in Boulder and the Denver metropolitan area on May 12th to raise crucially-needed funds for earthquake victims in Nepal. An online effort is also being organized in order to link studios and yoga enthusiasts around the country.
#YOGAforNEPAL is a broad coalition of Boulder-based companies, studios, and individuals who have come together to mobilize relief efforts on behalf of the nearly one-half million Nepalese who were critically injured or displaced from their homes and livelihoods as a result of the 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Nepal. Lead community partners include Elephant Journal, Gaiam TV, lululemon, Naropa University, YogaPod, and Yoga Journal. Partners have generously donated expertise, technical skills, facilities and equipment, and advertising space.
