As the Founder of "Live Well Yoga," Cielo English mentors many new teachers and is now embarking on a new journey.
This new journey has led her to be the Lead Educator and Director of the Teacher Training Program at Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, BC., and faculty member at Pacific Rim College leading Yoga Therapy for Doulas.
Influenced by a background in competitive sports, alternative healing and science, Cielo's classes are both strong and challenging at times, yet soft, calming and meditative.
Using her knowledge of both the healing arts and human biomechanics, Cielo English endeavors to provide a practice that is sustainable, noncompetitive, and encouraging. Her classes are creatively woven together with compelling themes, intelligent sequencing, and postures that promote deep focus through breath, inner awareness, and a calm awakening of spirit. Using her own life experiences as inspiration, Cielo's practices are ripe with mature teachings that empower students to unveil their passions and potential and to grab the life they dream to live.
Cielo English endeavors to provide a practice that is sustainable and relative to you as an individual and as a community. As a devoted student of yoga for over half her life, she continues to study with masterful teachers across the globe.
Cielo developed yoga for Youth programs within the Lower Mainland and actively supports the Power of Movement (raising funds for research for Arthritis & Auto Immune Disease). Cielo offers classes in Hatha, Power, Vinyasa Flow, Hot yoga, Anusara inspired TM, Yin, Therapeutics, Pre- and Postnatal yoga and fosters relationships within her community to make yoga available to everyone.
?I am humbled by and in awe of the process of our practice. I am grateful for the truths and transformations that expand my vision and heart enabling me to be a better me, in service to my family, my students, and my community.?
