Farah Nazarali

 

Farah Moolji Nazarali is a Yoga Instructor, Laughter Leader, and Culinary Artist. Through her small business- the Smiling Yogi, she aspires to help people to lead healthy, active, and joyful lives. After graduating from McGill University with a Bachelors in Political Science and from George Washington University with a Masters in Latin American Studies, and spending more than 10 years teaching, Farah realized that the power for change in the world lies within each individual and has found the practice of yoga and laughter to be transformative. Through The Smiling Yogi Farah teaches Yoga, facilitates Laughter Yoga sessions and Trainings, and leads Nutrition Workshops and cooking demos.     Farah has been featured in radio, TV and newspapers across the country for the work she does to promote healthy living, and her own writings and stories have been published in newspapers, magazines, and journals across North America and Europe. In addition to The Smiling Yogi, Farah is Founder, Producer and Host of Drishti Point, Vancouver’s yoga radio talk show. Drishti Point airs every Monday 5-6pm on CFRO 102.7FM.
