Jessica Murray is an astrologer, writer, and cultural commentator who draws from her knowledge of many metaphysical traditions to bring light to the spiritual underpinnings that shape our time.
Murray's highly acclaimed book, "Soul-Sick Nation: An Astrologer's View of America," examines astrological transits as they manifest in current global events. In her writings, she uses astrology as a spiritual language to put America's collective journey in mythic terms.
After graduating from Brown University, where she studied Jungian psychology and linguistics, in 1973, Murray spent a few years in a political theatre troupe. Since then, she has dedicated her life to the study of the symbolic language archetypes and practicing and teaching astrology. For over 35 years, Murray has offered a full range of astrological readings by phone or in her San Francisco office.
