Hello, I hope this message will reach Mo! I recently came across a drawing/painting apparently from India on the cover of an old printing of a book by Gopi Krishna. It shows a man with Chakras painted on his body with the planetary glyphs inside the Chakras. The glyphs are in the order described in this article starting with the Moon at the Root Chakra and ending with Saturn at the Crown. I will gladly share the photo I took of this picture if you like. Your article and this picture now beg the question - did Ptolemy get his ideas from India or perhaps vice versa? I'd love to know the source fo this picture and begin to unravel this mystery. I am a professinal western astrologer who has made the connection between the planets and the Chakras the focal point of my work - thus my interest in this picture. I am glad to learn this order of planets from fastest to slowest and see how it fits the big picture. Thanks for this article, Mo!
