Satyama Lasby

Satyama Lasby has been teaching yoga for the last 12 years, with her first certification in Integrative Yoga Therapy (IYT  200 hrs) through Joseph LePage and Jonas Westring. She is also a Yoga Wise (Calgary), Sivananda (Kerala, India) and Agama Yoga (Rishikesh, India) teacher.  Satyama has an extensive background in fitness leadership and after teaching group fitness classes for 20 years, she has integrated the healing benefits of yoga in her own body and assists others in developing the mind-body connection. She is passionate about bringing the teachings of the East to the West and has taught yoga and meditation in the Osho Mediation Resort in India, the Yoga House in Guatemala, and the Pachamama community in Costa Rica.

Satyama is also a deep tissue massage and Thai yoga massage and cranial sacral practitioner. She uses intuition to heal and transform the body of the client, balance the chakras and provides open readings on what is happening in the life of the client while the massage is being done.

Her company, Open to Bliss Productions, provides yoga and tantra retreats, retreats, individual yoga instruction, and intuitive bodywork. She also teaches  specialty workshops worldwide, such as Chocolate Bliss Yoga, the Chakric and energetic system of the body and meditation workshops that use her vast knowledge of the mind-body connection and how illness can be healed naturally. Her passions include superfoods, dance and eccentric ways of celebrating life.
