This is my favorite place for fellowship, community and joyful loving connection. Agape is now independent and its own movement, and the vision of Dr. Beckwith (The Rev) is growing more manifest every day. It is my pleasure to serve as a Professional Practitioner there, for six years now, to facilitate classes, to be in spiritual leadership, and also to simply be of service wherever needed.

You may have guessed I highly recommend the place! I haven’t even mentioned the rich services, the absolutely fabulous music, the awesome choir, and the bonus of the guest performers and speakers we enjoy every so often.

A little clarification on the service times:

Sunday First Service - 8:00am meditation, 8:30 service.
Sunday Second Service 10:30am meditation, 11am service.
Wednesday Service - 6:45pm meditation, 7:15pm service.
This is a more casual and intimate service, if the Sunday exhuberance is too much for you!

If you are in the area, or even if it is a bit of a drive, come on down! I’ll see you there.

Hello Everyone:

I've had the pleasure of attending some great workshops and lectures at the center. Just a few moments ago, I finished watching The Secret and thought Michael Beckwith was superb.

I attended Agape this morning (as I do most Sundays). I drive 1 1/2 hrs from Ojai to Culver City. The service today was AWESOME. Actually, every service is awesome. Rev. Michael was outstanding, inspirational and definitely activating.

I feel renewed, refreshed, revitalized, realigned, re-engaged. The vibration of love is palpable.

Agape is a wonderful place to feel the earth changing. Dr. Michael Beckwith’s messages are always inspiring & often humorous, and the music is better than American Idol! :-)

The times posted are for the half hour meditation before the actual service (8am meditation, 8:30 service) and often the spirit moves longer than the scheduled time.

I suggest getting there a bit early, especially for the later (10:30) service, and taking advantage of the parking shuttle. The parking is almost always packed!

I used to go every Sunday ‘till my little one was born, now she teaches me everyday without having to leave the house!

Also know that there is often a small open air market after both Sunday services (I’ve never been to a Wednesday service, maybe then too?). They usually have some eats, some treats, and things for your body and feet.

This is a non-denomination congregation, often reading inspiration from the Tao Te Ching, Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Thicht Nat Han(sp?), the Dalai Lama, (you get the idea). Agape, for the most part, aligns itself with science of mind, known to many as religious science, and is a very inclusive gathering.
