Celebrate Spring with Gaia

The Spring Equinox is upon us. As the sun positions itself directly above the equator (giving us equal parts light and dark), we say a gracious goodbye to winter. There are many traditions around the world, and here at Gaia, we want part of your tradition to be celebrating with us! If Spring motivates you to do some internal cleaning and detox, join Ashley Turner, Desiree Rumbaugh, and Meghan Currie for some twisting and detox practices. Or perhaps for you Spring is the time for opening yourself up to new beginnings or pursue new opportunities with some energetic backbends. Well, we have you covered with practices from Clara Roberts-Oss, Zain Saraswati Jamal, Gina Caputo, and Kate Potter. Whatever you are looking to make room for in your life, we have a practice to support you! Embrace the opportunity that Spring can bring!

I am very interested in starting yoga. I don't know the positions or much past the basic ideas of yoga. Where would it be best to start?
Thank you,

Hi Jeanna i found Colleen and Rodney's ultimate guide for beginners quite helpful! The practices are about 20-30 mins, lots of verbal instructing, and there are interesting 'yoga talks' as well. Enjoy!
