Inspiring Lives

When Nelson Mandela died at the end of 2013, there was a great outpouring of affection and appreciation for the way he had led his life. After spending some 27 years in prison and becoming his nation’s leader, he did not choose revenge against his oppressors, but rather looked forward to healing his country. In this, he found admirers even among those who had once opposed him. We take inspiration from those who have dedicated their lives to building a better world. Enjoy this collection featuring those who, by their example, encourage us to express what Abraham Lincoln called “the better angels of our nature.”
