Stepping into the Heart

Sometimes life brings challenging circumstances, and a different kind of meditation practice is called for – meditations on compassion and wisdom. The Stepping into the Heart guide brings you a series of meditations designed to connect you with the authentic heart of our original being. These practices nurture our very own compassionate heart, allowing it to step forward and hold all the emotions that our small, contracted, and separate self may fixate upon when we encounter difficult times.

What is it that’s nudging you? Perhaps you’re in a state of full-blown crisis, or dealing with piercing sadness or emptiness. Whatever it is, allow your heart to be cracked open, and let us guide you through the process of Stepping Into the Heart. This guide is hosted by Mark Williams.

“There’s a crack in everything. It’s how the light gets in.” – Leonard Cohen

A Meditation on Metta
Teacher:
Bernie Clark

The world seems full of boundaries. When we are closed off we may feel protected but we are also contracted. Growth is not possible when we are shrinking away from life. Expansion involves opening to our surroundings, to others; only then is growth possible and only then is wholeness available. To grow in this way requires seeing others the same way we see ourselves; to wish for others exactly what we wish for ourselves.
