I realized earlier this year something that was hard to admit.
I'm scared of love.
Or, I should say, there's a part of myself that finds it terrifying.
It's frustrating, because to me love is the most powerful, devastating, and wonderful force in the universe--and there's nothing I'd like more to give myself over to. Even so, every time I think I've gone as far as I can go in becoming available and open to the feeling of really and truly being loved, I find some timid little area of my heart that's resisting.

You don't deserve it," comes the whisper.
