The lover must often say, "I love because I must, because I will it. I love for myself, not for others. I love for the joy it gives me - and incedentally, only - for that joy it gives to others. If they reinforce me it will be good. If they do not, it also will be good, for I will to love."

Love is the Law, Love Under Will. Do you love your material possesions more than you love another human being??? Sometimes the most simpliest and easiest things in life are the most complicated. 93 93/93
I do love for the joy it gives me. It is ecstacy to love! The human being is like a node of intention, and when the human being intends love and manifests it with action, something magical happens. Something cosmic. It is the highest value manifested the most concretely - God Incarnate.
Reciprocation of love is great, but being able to love perfectly is joy inexpressible. Love creates a container in which it is safe to transform and transcend ourselves. There is no greater honor than to be able to create such a container.
Love to all.

I have homeless people I minister to as well as people in recovery and I truly love these people and I find the love to be healing for both them and myself. These people reinforce my love because they do love me back. They may have hurt the ones they loved and lost them in their lives and have given up, but when I came around and loved them for some, it changed their lives.
I've experienced the willing myself to love. Prior to that experience, I always thought of will and love as being opposed. Love as an individual's expression… no matter how its received by others.
