If I'd understood this years ago, I wouldn't have hidden from my sexual identity. It is only now that I'm true to myself that I think this way… that I believe in my own power to change the world. I want homosexuals to stop hiding, to stop saying, “If I were heterosexual…” I want sexual minorities to rise up and say, “We can't change ourselves. Let's change the world.” It does happen.
