Did you know you can turn any of the short quotes on our site into an e-card?
Simply locate the quote you'd like to send, and if it fits on our card, you'll see an option for Send as greeting on the left side of the quote.
Or, if you'd like a more classic Greeting card, you can visit our Gaia Greeting Gallery.
True divine nature is an instrument of light that enables us to walk in peace and beauty.
Guidelines for Gaia quotes
1. Don't add duplicate quotes! If the quote is already in the system, please do not add it again. The search box is there for this reason. :)
2. Post only one quote per entry. In other words, don’t post a whole bunch of quotes together in one unending thread.
3. Please limit quotes that are unattributed, or your own work. Quotes with unknown authors currently outnumber all other authors here on Gaia. Please only post quotes you know the author of - and preferably can cite source as well! This will assure all users who view Gaia quotes that they can cite quotes they find here with confidence.
Please do not post advertisements as quotes - they will be removed.
4. Don't include quotation marks, and please limit other formatting. It's not necessary to put quote marks around the quotations on Gaia; we'll take care of that for you. :) Also, please do not post quotes in ALL CAPS, or italics, bold, color, etc. Use the the formatting tools only for where emphasis is used in the quote itself. :)
5. Finally, please tag your quotes! Please tag your quotes appropriately with words or phrases that will help other users find the quote when they are searching based on subject/topic. The better you can tag and attribute a quote (including source!), the more valuable the quote may be to other users. Use the comment function to add any additional information that might be of interest - what the quote means to you, where you first read it.
