I find that this quote has immense depth but is easily misunderstood. It should be remembered that “feeling” in regard to the “senses” is vastly different to feeling in regard to realization or perception as a result of awarness and mindfulness.
Feelings based on a thought shut out wisdom but feelings from realization and awareness IS wisdom. BUT words are meaningless in the Zen transmission of Mind… mmmm, paradoxes, I love them.
