Lähelein hatte es am See Brumbane genommen. Es gehörte einem Gralsritter, den er tötete. Orilus, der Bruder des Lähelein, hatte es Gawan geschenkt. Dieses Ross besass rote Ohren und hiess Gringuljet. Gawan besitzt noch andere Pferde. Eines kennen wir auch noch mit Namen, es heisst Ingliart mit den kurzen Ohren.
