For most women, beauty and body issues are the easiest path to awakening, because the pain is so very close to the surface and the inner critic’s voice is the easiest to hear. The beauty of awakening is getting this, down to your bones, so that the world no longer needs to play our internal dramas on the backdrop of life. We can watch the drama as it comes and goes, maybe making a genuine wise crack, or just laughing at our own antics.
We stop looking to manifest abundance; we are abundance. Even without a job. Even when you give away the majority of what you create. Even when there is no one but ourselves standing at the finish line to thank us for doing out part to help save the world.
A living body is not a fixed thing but a flowing event, like a flame or a whirlpool: the shape alone is stable, for the substance is a stream of energy going in at one end and out at the other. We are particularly and temporarily identifiable wiggles in a stream that enters us in the form of light, heat, air, water, milk, bread, fruit, beer, beef Stroganoff, caviar, and pate de foie gras. It goes out as gas and excrement - and also as semen, babies, talk, politics, commerce, war, poetry, and music. And philosophy.
Many ancient traditions worldwide maintain that humans not only inherently possess the potential for fully incarnating light at the physiological level, but that some have already achieved it, and millions more will do so in the very era in which we live. The historical literature “suggests that there are unusual physical, as well as psychological, consequences in humans to the attainment of the exalted state of mind known as enlightenment,” writes biochemist Colm Kelleher. “These reported changes include, but are not limited to, sudden reversal of aging, emergence of a light body and observed bodily ascension.” While many of these descriptions associate the lightbody with death, Kelleher makes it clear that a number of reports indicate that “transformation of the body can happen independently of death.”
Being tatttooed has opened up a whole new way of life for me. I now have a whole circle of interesting friends.

When it becomes a part of every man's thinking that a single thought can change the polarity of our entire body toward either life or death - and can likewise change its entire chemistry toward increasing alkalinity or acidity to strengthen it or weaken it - or can change the shape of every corpuscle of matter in the entire body in the direction of either growth or decay - then the medical profession will radically change both its principles and its practices with the ailment of bodies.
The best way to determine the value of an idea is by watching the effect in our daily lives. Our actions determine succes or not, our body, our person, are the tools. To reach mastery you need deep wisdom and perfect control over these tools.

Another problem of fragmentation is that thought divides itself from feeling and from the body. Thought is said to be the mind; we have the notion that it is something abstract or spiritual or immaterial. Then there is the body, which is very physical. And we have emotions, which are perhaps somewhere in between. The idea is that they are all different. That is, we think of them as different. And we experience them as different because we think of them as different.
If God is indeed in the body—and consciousness and physiology are, from an evolutionary perspective, inextricably linked—we must acknowledge that divine consciousness is available in and through physicality.
If you wish to care for your body, first of all take care of material things, though even when you have all the things you want, the body can still be uncared for.
Hungry, you're a dog, angry and bad-natured.
having eaten your fill, you become a carcass;
you lie down like a wall, senseless.

To meditate is to become one with God. It means to STOP THINKING and thus get out of the awareness of body. One can be aware of his body and of material things only while, and because, one is thinking.
… To concentrate is to think very hard and focus your thoughts to a point. To meditate is just the opposite – it means to expand one’s thoughts into space until one stops thinking and steps into the still Light of KNOWING.
Thinking is sensing, and sensing is vibratory motion. Conversely, meditation is becoming still in order to talk with God. When I say “talk with God” I mean become inspired with His Light of all-knowing. One talks with God in timeless Light. Inspiration comes in flashes of still Light – invisible Light.
If you want to know anything whatsoever, just desire to know it, then stop thinking. Try to get into a state of universal ecstasy or inner joyousness, which is a state of consciousness like unto the God-Mind. Void your mind of thoughts, thought forms and ideas. Become perfectly blank insofar as idea and form are concerned.
In that manner, you become transformed from man as an individual unit of mankind, and become all Soul – the universal Soul. In that manner you make the transition from the state of sensing some things materially to knowing all things cosmically.
Just before my second major illumination at the age of fourteen, I was stricken with black diphtheria, which is identical with black plague. Cultures from my throat so blackened a case knife that the three doctors attending me said I could not possibly live, for the functions of my throat were destroyed.
Soon after, these doctors pronounced me dead. The undertakers had arrived. I had no awareness of my body, whatsoever, but while in that state a great ecstasy overwhelmed me with all-knowing Light of Love and, to the amazement of my weeping parents, I arose from my bed perfectly healed. An inspection of my throat showed a perfect normalcy of strong tissue and my weakened body was again strong and vital.

It was then given me to know that the power of revitalization of my body was mine, and I, who had been pronounced dead by man, lived strongly in the body.
I can still see-feel-hear-smell-taste her, her maddest of bodies that made divinest sense to a parched and withered me. My mind swam like a drunk octopus with images of the two of us in a dizzying array of compromising--possibly illegal--positions.
Those who have returned from the bardo say that although they felt disconnected and separated from their bodies, they had no regrets. It was as if in shedding the physical, an even greater world of knowledge and understanding had been unveiled to them, which made the body seem unimportant and a limiting factor in the overall scheme of things.
It is a mark of a mean capacity to spend much time on the things which concern the body, such as much exercise, much eating, much drinking, much easing of the body, much copulation. But these things should be done as subordinate things: and let all your care be directed to the mind.
Life is not the body; it is not the mind; it is not the soul. It is a force.
