I felt like I was watching a dream I would never awaken from. Before I knew it the dream was all over.

"What are we to learn by contrast? The answer to this is; to learn what to avoid and what to seek. That part of our SELF which is deluded, the separate Self, knows this only too well. So, in line with every other truth, it was turned into a farce. The seeking now becomes not one between dream and reality but one between polarities themselves, whcih are but part of the dream. Thus the choice, the freedom of choice the Ego offers, is the choice between a dream and a dream. A rock and a hard place.
So, now the picture looks like this: we religiously avoid the Bad and seek the Good or avoid what is Good and seek the Bad as we 'avoid' and 'seek'! It does not really matter which way the pendulum swings, as long as it rmains within 'opposing forces', within polarities; this way escape is made impossible, illusion reassured. As long as we are guided by false perception, we see the cintrast as the contrast between polarities themselves and believe we must choose between poalarites.
"Imagine a vertical pole, the vertical pole representing God, or reality. This symbolizes a unified whole. We split this pole lengthwise, thus we have two poles. We take the one we have split off away and lay it across the vertical pole to create a horizontal or lateral pole. Now we have the picture of a cross. By splitting the vertical pole and laying one pole across we have laid one half of the unified whole in exact opposition to the vertical or God pole. All the lateral pole contains must now, of necessity, as well be opposed to God, or the vertical pole. This lateral pole depicts our world, our view of reality. A reality which is no more real, for it is not more whole. It depicts our separation from Oneness. What is not real must be unreal, as a dream is unreal form the vista of one in the waking state. So this world we know, in which we breathe and live; a world split from is whole. It is this lateral pole we misinterpret. If we did not see it falsely, then the lateral pole would upright itself in our perception, would realign itself with the vertical pole and become One with it again. But being as it is, our perception of reality is at cross purposes with reality, so we see it as separate from it can across. So the lateral pole becomes the world of illusion or altered state of mind--the altered Ego. This point needs to be clearly understood: The lateral axis itself is not the illusion, only its lateral position is; that is, our perception of it as being separate from the vertical pole. We have thus formed a cross to which we nailed ourselves. We crucified ourselves. Nobody else did this to us."
"Artists are the seeds, brave enough to live and flower before humanity. Our soil is contemplation, our water, its understanding. Whether my petals be beautiful to another, to I and The Maker, they are Unique and yet, only equally as beautiful as any other. Some call that being a Dreamer. I call it, being Belov'ed."
“The problems of the world cannot be solved by skeptics or cynics whose horizons are limited by the obvious realities. We need men who can dream of things that never were.”
Is a dream reality till you wake up?
There is nothing like dream to create the future. Utopia today, flesh and blood tomorrow.
The poor man is not he who is without a cent, but he who is without a dream.
A dream remains a dream until you take action
"We must look a long time before we can see or, be blind and dream. And dreamas if you'll live forever but; live as if its your last day to live"
It isn't a calamity to die with dreams unfulfilled, but it is a calamity not to dream.
You can change your beliefs so they empower your dreams and desires. Create a strong belief in yourself and what you want.
You can change your beliefs so they empower your dreams and desires. Create a strong belief in yourself and what you want.
A dream is your creative vision for your life in the future. You must break out of your current comfort zone and become comfortable with the unfamiliar and the unknown.
"Don't be scared to run, if you're chasing a dream."
For me, an American Dream, if you read Theodore Dreiser, or you read other people who have written about what they consider the American Dream, it always has to do with monetary success, or poor boy makes good, or that kind of thing. To me that's not what it's all about. It's about, actually, when you get to be my age, having kind of a serenity about your life, and a good feeling about what you have done and what you can still do.
And also, believing all the time that there is the freedom to do what you want to do. The ability, in your walking existence, to go out your front door and not be obstructed in any way. But there are always limitations, and there are limitations that are set by geographical boundaries, territorial boundaries, political boundaries that you have to live with and you have to understand those.
We're not so free that we don't have to listen to rules, and laws, and regulations. Those are important. But the spirit, the freedom of the spirit, that's what I think of American Dream, that we are free here to do what we want to do, what we set out to do.
Behind every dream come true and vision fulfilled there is an incredibly stubborn person.
Never limit your dreams to only what you can see becoming reality.
The universe has infinite ways of bringing desires into fruition,
once you allow the possibility by removing your limitations.
The only dream worth having is to dream that you will live while you're alive and die only when you're dead.
As in creating some significant work the artist first experiences something akin to dream awareness that becomes clarified in the creative process itself, so we must first have a vision of the future sufficiently entrancing that it will sustain us in the transformation of the human project that is now in process.
