The sages say . . .
Experience is stronger than belief. What you were taught when you were a young child might be true or not.
When you experience, then you know.

It is one step, and a giant one, to see clearly and participate in the love that flows between the persons of the Trinity, but even here, God is seen as the object of his own love. It is yet another step to realize that God is beyond all subject and object and is Himself love without subject or object. This is the step beyond our highest experiences of love and union, a step in which self is not around to divide, separate, objectify or claim anything for itself. Self does not know God; it cannot love him, and from the beginning has never done so.
We all walk a path in our life experience. If we are diligent and lucky, we receive and interpret the signs that are given to us correctly we find the path that we were meant to be on instead of taking a wrong turn and ending up on the wrong path.
We are not human beings in search of a spiritual experience
We are spiritual beings immersed in a human experience
In essence all experiences can only be an unconscious projection from the Self or mindbody package, of the Divine. Not the Divine itself, simply triggered by touching on the Divine.
That which is through all experience cannot be affected by anything. It is only that, which is left when experience is gone.
Now there is no experiencer, nor any experience to be experienced.
Freedom itself.
.....through living as your true nature you will see, not mentally but through your own direct experience,
that your true Divine nature is always here at all times, in all situations and life circumstances
and at no time is it ever possible to lose or leave it.
I am a woman in process. I'm just trying like everybody else.
I try to take every conflict, every experience, and learn from it.
Life is never dull.
"Within each of us, there is a silence, a silence as vast as the universe. And when we experience that silence, we remember who we are..."
The rise beyond judgment allows love to enter. This highest of frequencies changes our physical bodies by way of a restored DNA. Thus each individual in that position becomes a transmitter of the most powerful electromagnetic frequency, affecting everything and everyone around him.
In summarizing this discourse on the balance of polarities, we say: God is All-There-Is, therefore God is ALL-encompassing. Whatever enters my realm of experience, must, of need, be God. How can I put different price tags on the various appearances of God? For the I AM in me is God. Thus I only judge myself by judging God. God is Pure Being, therefore innocent and so am I. Now I look 'out' into the mirror of Creation and see but myself and that is innocent, hence all of equal value. If witnessing destructive or discordant energy, I do not have to condone it, but I evaluate it as of equal worth to any other expression of Life.
Any experience, no matter how fearful it seems, when seen as of equal validity to any other manifestation, faced and embraced as of equal right to be, shall unify and thus release this fear in to the All-There-Is. This way it shall never manifest.
There are no words to express the feeling and reality of completeness, our natural state of Being. It can only be experienced.
"Run your fingers through my soul. For once, just once, feel exactly what I feel, believe what I believe, perceive as I perceive, look, experience, examine, and for once, just once, understand."
I thought about it, a few years actually, and I decided that meaning and language are two different things. And that what the alien voice in the psychedelic experience wants to reveal is the syntactical nature of reality. That the real secret of magic is that the world is made of words, and that if you know the words that the world is made of you can make of it whatever you wish.
It's all experience; not anything original
"Life will give you whatever experience is most helpful for the evolution of your consciousness. How do you know this is the experience you need? Because this is the experience you are having at this moment"
"Pure love is who you are! When you express pure love, you give yourself the direct experience of who you are. It is the greatest gift! It looks as if your giving a gift to others, and you are giving it to yourself, that is because there is no one else in the room, it only looks as if there is."
"Fear limits experience."
“A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions.” - Jr.
Self, what would that be? No one exists or can exist to realize the self without defining the self that it realized, or the self that has realized the "it" that it believes itself to be.
The I-know mind that would say, "Yes, I have realized the self" is in that moment stuck in its limitedness yet again.
Look at these statements, look closely, be with them in many ways and then be with them differently again, if it is peace that interests you. The "self" is just one more concept, one more identity the mind would cling to (and that's okay). What I experience is that I'm free (until I'm not).
The thought of initiation scared me more than dentists. I pictured shivering naked in dark caves, eating raw meat and insects, stumbling deliriously across miles of scorching desert, hanging from my pierced chest for days on end. “Perhaps it doesn’t have to be so painful,” I mused between drags on a damp Pall Mall while thumbing for a ride in a light mist of rain outside Grosse Tete, Louisiana.
To stay close and intimate with experience is to stay close to the mind; the nitty gritty mind of the way things really are.
What was considered a peak mystical experience a few years ago is today the basic platform of sanity from which our exploration begins.
Much literature has been written on branding.
But what is a brand? Can you define it in just 6 words?
No, it is not Nike’s “swoop.” It is not McDonald’s “I’m Lovin’ It” jingle. It is not Accenture’s Tiger Woods ads. It is not the design of my website or my “Unconventional Thinking” tag line.
Erik Hansen, Tom Peters’ brand manager (and a good friend of mine), said it quite eloquently. A brand is… “what your customers say it is.”
What is great about this definition is that it gives you direct access to changing your brand. To change your brand you must change your customers’ perceptions and experiences. No logo or advertising campaign has ever done this.
To me, I just view everything as an experience. We label it "failure" or "success," when in fact it's just an experience. And we can learn from every experience—good, bad, or indifferent.
Now and always, you can not get away from it; every possibility is also an opportunity for good.
The word “discernment” will be used here to signify the power to discriminate between a perceived reality and the possibility that the perception may be illusory. Discernment is not the same as faith, for faith may be a personal creation, either mental or emotional, but discernment is a quite certain recognition of the reality or truth of something, and is acquired by the higher consciousness.
Every certainty is the result of an experience. If the experience has come through the senses, the emotions, or the intellect, then the certainty is no more than relative; it is beyond doubt only when it is the fruit of a genuine spiritual experience of identification.
Identification is the union of a art of one’s being with the object contemplated, whether or not this object is in the field of sensory perception.
True identification is communion between the perceiver and the perceived, and this communion does not permit the intrusion of any notions foreign to the reality of the object contemplated. It demands accordingly the exclusion of all notions or impressions arising from the personality of the perceiver, for this might corrupt the integrity of his perception; that is, it requires absolute neutrality, whether this is obtained accidentally for a moment or by perfect control.
Perfect control of our mental faculties, by holding them steady and reducing them to the role of an absolutely neutral observer, makes identification possible, and conscious identification obtained in these conditions amounts to certain knowledge.
Identification can also happen accidentally through momentary emptiness of mind; but in that case it is without the conscious control which coordinates spiritual perceptions, and is thus an unconscious identification. Most intuitive perceptions are of this order and cannot have the value of certainties for lack of the necessary “discernment”; they remain probabilities which must be evaluated more and more closely by a process of verification strictly purified from personal prejudice.
The possibility of distinguishing without error between the certainty and the mere probability of an experience of identification may be called “the discernment of discernment.”
The value of a flash of discernment cannot be measured in time; it is a moment of wisdom, of true knowledge. A sage may enjoy such moments more or less frequently, but they are never continuous so long as he is obliged to undergo the accidents and relativism of life on earth.
The discernment of a true discernment requires the man who would practice it an experimental knowledge of his own different states of consciousness and of the value of the evidence they offer him. Only in such a case can our discernment have the value of reality, and thus allow us to find our answers in ourselves.
There are many people who reach their conclusions about life like schoolboys: they cheat their master by copying the answer out of a book without having worked the sum out for themselves.
The universe must be experienced as the Great Self. Each is fulfilled in the other: the Great Self is fulfilled in the individual self, the individual self is fulfilled in the Great Self. Alienation is overcome as soon as we experience this surge of energy from the source that has brought the universe through the centuries. New fields of energy become available to support the human venture. These new energies find expression and support in celebration. For in the end the universe can only be explained in terms of celebration. It is all an exuberant expression of existence itself.
Do not be too timid and squeamish about your actions. All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better. What if they are a little course, and you may get your coat soiled or torn? What if you do fail, and get fairly rolled in the dirt once or twice. Up again, you shall never be so afraid of a tumble.
