If you share your light with the world, truth and goodness will be your constant companions.

"Spirituality is natural goodness. God is not a person; God is a presence personified in us. Spirituality is not a thing; it is the atmosphere of God's Presence, goodness, truth, and beauty."
Dr. Ernest Holmes
My Soul’s Marriage
A commitment to your own and
the world’s transformation.
For the Benefit of myself and All Beings.
I, (my ego & personality)
Do solemnly swear
to love, honor and obey my soul,
my path to realization and
relationship with a higher,
deeper creative power,
for better or worse,
for richer or poorer,
in sickness and in health,
from now and forever more.
Remember that if the opportunities for great deeds should never come, the opportunities for good deeds are renewed day by day. The thing for us to long for is the goodness, not the glory.
I am good to people who are good.
I am also good to people who are not good.
Because Virtue is goodness.
A good man cannot be harmed either in life or in death.
You see there are three steps: witnessing the mind, witnessing others and then witnessing yourself. That is the exact way in which it happens. All of this is transferred from inside to outside and then back to you. A perfect reflection of the mind; this is the main way that you can perfect yourself. It is your duty and responsibility to learn from others. Take what is good from others, and incorporate it within yourself. Take what needs enhancing in others and enhance it within.
"The power of the Good has taken refuge in the nature of the Beautiful"
“War may sometimes be a necessary evil. But no matter how necessary, it is always an evil, never a good. We will not learn how to live together in peace by killing each other's children.”
“It is best and easiest not to discredit others but to prepare oneself to be as good as possible.”
Straightforwardness and simplicity are in keeping with goodness.
Believe that you possess a basic goodness, which is the foundation for the greatness you can ultimately achieve.
That which you create in beauty and goodness and truth lives on for all time to come. Don't spend your life accumulating material objects that will only turn to dust and ashes.
Wisdom and goodness to the vile seem vile; Filths savour but themselves.
Virtue is bold, and goodness never fearful.
The Art of Happiness There was never a time when so much official effort was being expended to produce happiness, and probably never a time when so little attention was paid by the individual to creating and personal qualities that make for it. What one misses most today is the evidence of widespread personal determination to develop a character that will, in itself, given any reasonable odds, make for happiness. Our whole emphasis is on the reform of living conditions, of increased wages, of controls on the economic structure-the government approach-and so little on man improving himself. The ingredients of happiness are so simple that they can be counted on one hand. Happiness comes from within, and rests most securely on simple goodness and clear conscience. Religion may not be essential to it, but no one ins known to have gained it without a philosophy resting on ethical principles. Selfishness is its enemy; to make another happy is to be happy one's self. It is quiet, seldom found for long in crowds, most easily won in moments of solitude and reflection. It cannot be bought; indeed, money has very little to do with it. No one is happy unless he is reasonably well satisfied with himself, so that the quest for tranquility must of necessity begin with self-examination. We shall not often be content with what we discover in this scrutiny. There is much to do, and so little done. Upon this searching self-analysis, however, depends the discovery of those qualities that make each man unique, and whose development alone can bring satisfaction. Of all those who have tried, down the ages, to outline a program for happiness, few have succeeded so well as William Henry Channing, chaplain of the House of Representatives in the middle of the last century: "To live content with small means; so seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy . . . to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly; to listen to the stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart; to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never; in a word to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common." It will be noted that no government can do this for you; you must do it for yourself.

Soul Gathers Force It is possible, when the future is dim, when our depressed faculties can form no bright ideas of the perfection and happiness of a better world,-it is possible still to cling to the conviction of God's merciful purpose towards His creatures, of His parental goodness even in suffering, still to feel that the path of duty, though trodden with a heavy heart, leads to peace; still to be true to conscience; still to do our work, to resist temptation, to be useful, though with diminished energy, to give up our wills when we cannot rejoice under God's mysterious providence. In this patient, though uncheered obedience, we become prepared for light. The soul gathers force.
Each of will one day be judged By our standard of life, Not by our standard of living; By our measure of giving, Not by our measure of wealth; By our simple goodness, Not by our seeming greatness.
She had only to stand in the orchard, to put her hand on a little crab tree and look up at the apples, to make you feel the goodness of planting and tending and harvesting at last.
Even the best of people make mistakes. But we can learn good through evil and progress to goodness and greatness through great mistakes. If my family were perfect, I could not endure the contrast. My weaknesses help me to understand the weaknesses of others.
Let there be no limit to your goodness even as there is no limit to your Father in Heaven's goodness.
Know this, that ev'ry soul is free To choose his life and what he'll be; For this eternal truth is giv'n That God will force no man to heav'n. He'll call, persuade, direct aright, And bless with wisdom, love and light, In nameless ways be good and kind, But never force the human mind. Freedom and reason make us men; Take these away, what are we then? Mere animals, and just as well The beasts may think of heav'n or hell. May we no more our pow'rs abuse, But ways of truth and goodness choose; Our God is pleased when we improve His grace and seek his perfect love.
For the sake of goodness and love, Man shall let Death have No sovereignty over his thoughts.
