When we form heart-centered beliefs within our bodies, in the language of physics we're creating  the electrical and magnetic expression of them as waves of energy, which aren't confined to our hearts or limited by the physical barrier of our skin and bones.  So clearly we're "speaking" to the world around us in each moment of every day through a language that has no words:  the belief-waves of our hearts.

In addition to pumping the blood of life within our bodies, we may think of the heart as a belief-to-matter translator.  It converts the perceptions of our experiences, beliefs, and imagination into the coded language of waves that communicate with the world beyond our bodies.  Perhaps this is what philosopher and poet John Mackenzie meant when he stated, "The distinction between what is real and what is imaginary is not one that can be finely maintained ... all existing thing are ... imaginary."

In my heart there are visions of hope and beauty that celebrate the human imagination. Imagine Peace and you inspire the purpose within, Imagine Love and the seeds of possibilities will enable you to live your true nature and evoke your own greatness. Let us all be inspired to Imagine a world of unbridled joy and shared humanity for doing so will lead us to a rose garden of spirituality where happiness is a way of life.

The meaning of spirituality is to be healthy and happy; to be physically, emotionally and mentally strong. We can't find this with imaginataion. We must practice.

Gary Snyder points out, "The world is our consciousness, and it surrounds us.  There are more things in mind, in the imagination, than 'you' can keep track of -- thoughts, memories, images, angers, delights, rise unbidden.  The depths of mind, the unconscious, are our inner wilderness areas."  When we turn to a spiritual teacher we look for a guide, not one who is familiar with well-worn paths, but one who knows, as Snyder puts it, the "ettiquette of freedom."

I've also used my imagination to help others heal themselves.  I once went to visit a Hopi rattke maker in Arizona.  It took all of my intuitive powers to find her house up high in the mountains, having to make choices of which way to go every hundred feet or so.  When I arrived, her granddaughter was crying in pain, holding her ears.  She had had a terrible earache for twenty-four hours.  Instinctively, I approached the five-year-old and told her, "I'm going to put my hand on your ear and take away the pain.  I want you to see the pain.  What does it look like?  What shape is it?  What color?  What does it sound like?  Does it smell?  How would you feel if you touched it?  Now I want you to imagine it leaving your ear and entering my hand."  She looked up at me with huge brown eyes full of trust.  I put my hand on her ear, held it there a few minutes, and then ran to the door and blew the pain out of my hand and closed the door.  Within seconds the pain was gone.  Her grandmother, the rattle maker, stood there grinning from ear to ear.  "That's what my grandfather would have done," she said, "He was a shaman."

In a few minutes, the room seemed to fill with people.  Someone placed a chair in the middle of the room and people took turns sitting in it, asking for a healing.  Headaches, sores, back pains, and so on.  In each case I trusted myself to do what came naturally.  It's a day I'll never forget, as I discovered the range of my healing powers as they were drawn out by people for whom healing power was natural medicine.

Imagination is powerful.  Imagination is healing.  All you need is the courage to visualize what should be, and then give yourself to its creation.  The result may not be what you expected, but it will be right.

If we are open to unimaginable possibilities ours will be a path of truth, love and light where bliss and transformation are a way of life.

If you can imagine it, you can achieve it; if you can dream it, you can become it.

Love is fed by the imagination, by which we become wiser than we know, better than we feel, nobler than we are: by which we can see Life as a whole: by which, and by which alone, we can understand others in their real as in their ideal relations.

What liberates the imagination is the sense that work in its theory and practice holds aesthetic possibilities, that jobs can be elegantly conceived and gracefully done. This sense of beauty unlocks feelings of pleasure and love and breaks down the barrier between worker and work and commit to work not merely the "thinking" consciousness but the full resources of mind.

Such self-transformation is the most difficult and dangerous challenge to the imagination, and it is the most rewarding. Meeting it is only possible for the person whose mind is open to contradictions and well-practiced in free conjecture.

The recalling of beautiful things, whether they are your own experiences or the acheivements of others, is a creative act. Simple ideas can be restated by rote; but profound ideas must be recreated by will and imagination.

Your will is the ego part of you that believes you're separate from others, separate from what you'd like to accomplish or have, and separate from God. It also believes that you are your acquisitions, achievements, and accolades. This ego will wants you to constantly acquire evidence of your importance... On the other hand, your imagination is the concept of Spirit within you. ...with imagination, we have the power to be anything we desire to be.
