Have Faith in everything you do....and Jesus shall fulfill your request.
Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grapsed, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearnace as a man, he humbled himself and becamse obedient to death--even death on a cross!
I have seen the Lord!
"Only Man has the power to forgive sin, discord and in-harmony, which cause sickness. It is not God who forgives. God has nothing to do with Man's sin, sickness and in-harmony. These are the result of Man misunderstanding of his real being. Jesus taught that the truth shall make you free; this truth being that all are joint heirs, with Christ, to be equal participants in all the blessings of the God kingdom; joint heir ship, meaning, the same possibility of the same power, strength and understanding that Jesus has. I'm quite sure none of us feels that he is on the same plane of enlightenment as the great master. Yet all of us realize the truth of Jesus' promise that with divine understanding, Man is set free!
The moment Men became free from the belief that they are mere human beings, and subject to human laws of life and death, and all other limitation; that moment they will know they are divine, free from all limitations and possessed with the strength of divinity. This divinity is not something to be injected from without, but is the very life of each and every Man; the ever flowing stream of the loving thoughts that poor from God to all his children. You will soon find that by fixing your thoughts and attention steadfastly on God within, you can raise the vibrations of your body to blend so harmoniously with divine perfection, that you are thus one with God, and usher in the only real kingdom; the kingdom of Heaven on Earth!"
Rise up, you suckers, and go out and do the work of Jesus!
... for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself but he sent me.
The Kingdom of God cometh not with observation; neither shall they say, Lo here or, lo there! for behold, the Kingdom of God is within you
The Earth trembled and the Heavens wept at the great crime just committed in the Land of Israel. For there was tortured and murdered the great, just Issa in whom dwelt the soul of the Universe
Love your enemies is probably the most radical thing Jesus ever said. Unless, of course, one considers the parable of the Samaritan. There the admonition is to let your enemies love you.
{Excerpted direct quotations from newspaper article ] "What is the hope that can give meaning to life? Without some form of hope, the Holy Father argues that life becomes tedious and potentially burdersome, even if it is marked by material influence and technical progress. The person without hope finds himself in an existential difficulty: For what enduring purpose am I clinging to this life that I love and do not want to lose?"
The article goes on later to say, "Hope is not then something for the future alone, a sort of wishful thinking aout what might be; it offers meaning for us today. Christian hope is founded on certain faith that life is not a meaningless riddle, but a mystery progressively revealed and finding the fulfillment in the redemption won by Jesus Christ and offered to all peoples."
"In restating this basic Christian doctrine, Benedict argues that it is not only for Christians alone. Others may not share the Christian faith in God, but the Christian proclamation that hope comes from within the person- in the realm of faith and conscience - is for them too. It offers an important protection against stifling and occasionally brutal social systems built on false hopes that come from outside the person, founded on political idealogies, economic models and social theories."
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door shall be opened.
Who you are is this "motion of seeing" that is looking through your eyes right now. When you stop at and as this "motion of aliveness" - by consciously refocusing your attention to this seer; by coming to being deeply at rest at and as this one that is the "you" that you can never get away from; by no longer furthering out from this "you" and into the attempt to try and be something that is notyou; you are immediately freed from who you think you are in every given moment of this realization.
True happiness is completely causeless; it is not reliant on a thing; it is its own reward, its own pleasure. It is immutable and immovable even as it is constantly changing and forever increasing in its movement into its own manifestation.
Your true home is in being deeply at rest at and as the heart of existence itself, the "you" that you truly are and have always been. The heart is totally free of everything even as it contains everything, sustains everything and is flowing through everything - without any paradox or contradiction to any of it.
As you learn to leave alone the activity of unconsciously trying to be the mindbody that you think that you are - the mindbody that this "you" is currently flowing through - and you learn to move as this one that you truly are - this "you" of you; the very heart of existence - steadily, consciously and momentarily, the continuity of the ever deepening of this innermost as it keeps on entering its manifestation, through this mindbody that you find yourself flowing through, allows you to simply bubble in the sheer joy, pleasure, peace, delightfulness and stillness that this "you" of you is.
"There is a little tree planted on a little hill, and on that tree hangs the most influential character that ever came into this world. Never feel that that tree is a meaningless drama that took place on the stages of history, oh no it is a telescope through which we look out into the long vista of eternity, to see the love of God breaking forth into time.
It is an eternal reminder to this power drunk generation that love is the only way. It is an eternal reminder to a generation depending on nuclear and atomic energy, to those who depend on physical violence that love is the only creative, redemptive and transforming power!" ~ MLK
“If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you.
If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.”
- Jesus (The Gospel of Thomas )
[Jesus] teaches that just as the sun gives light to both wicked and good, and the rain brings nourishment to righteous and unrighteous, God's compassion embraces all people. There are no pre-conditions for it, nothing we need to do first, nothing we have to believe. When we are ready to receive it, it is already there. And the more we live in its presence, the more effortlessly if flows through us, until we find that we no longer need external rules or Bibles or Messiahs.
What is the gospel according to Jesus? Simply this: that the love we all long for in our innermost heart is already present, beyond longing.
"I'm a part of the fellowship of the unashamed. I have Holy Spirit Power. The dye has been cast. I have stepped over the line the decision has been made. I am a disciple of His. I won't look back, let up, slow down, back away or be still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, my future is secure. I'm finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tame visions, worldly talking, cheap giving, and dwarfed goals. I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, platitudes or popularity. I don't have to be right, first recognized, praised, regarded or rewarded. I now live by faith lean on His presence, walk by patience, am lifted up by prayer and labor by power. My face is set, my gate is fast, my goal is heaven, my road is narrow, my way rough, my companions few, my guide reliable, my mission clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, deluded or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of the adversary, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I won't give up, shut up, let up until I've stayed up. I am disciple of Jesus. I must go till He comes, give till I drop, preach till all know, work till He stops me, and when He comes for His own, He'll have no problem recognizing me at all!"
