Death is the return to the very beginning of one's life, with the possibility of repeating it again.
Quotes about Reincarnation
For one who is truly ready to leave, to give up everything, to do anything to achieve full awareness in this lifetime...always radical means are essential in order to break free from this illusion in this lifetime.
I am Gourasana, and I make a very bold statement when I say I can guide you from this illusion – but I can.
"He saw all these forms and faces in a thousand relationships become newly born. Each one was mortal, a passionate, painful example of all that is transitory. Yet none of them died, they only changed, were always reborn, continually had a new face: only time stood between one face and another."
Souls are poured from one into another of different kinds of bodies of the world.
Birth and death are doors through which you pass from one dream to another. Someone is born on Earth in France as a powerful king, rules for a time, then dies. He maybe reborn in India, and travel in a bullock cart into the forest to meditate. He may next find rebirth in America as a successful businessman; and when he dreams death again, reincarnates perhaps in Tibet as a devotee of Buddha and spend his entire life in a lamasery. Therefore hate none and be attached to no nationality, for sometimes you are a Hindu, sometimes a Frenchman, sometimes an Englishman, or an American or a Tibetan. What is the difference? Each existence is a dream within a dream, is it not?
It is not more surprising to be born twice than once; everything in nature is resurrection.
If you want to know why and how reincarnation happens, let us make an experiment. Lie down, and see that the body, and above all the nerves, are completely relaxed. Then repeat, slowly and with attention, these words, trying as you do so to convince yourself that they are entirely true; “I abandon here and now all worry, all preoccupations, all personal will . . . I wash away all grief and regret, all spite and vengeance....I give up all personal love, all plans, all longings, and all hopes for earthly things.”
If you really try to be sincere in making these assertions, I defy you to speak the words without misgivings. Certain flame-hot fibers will revolt in you, will refuse such a surrender and contradict any such undertaking. Those are the threads that will drag you back to earth. Inevitably!
Spiritual states have nothing in common with your memories, or with the imaginings and intellectual interests of your earthly being; but those memories impress their emotional attraction upon your Ego-consciousness, and this prevents its liberation and causes you to return to earthly existence, by attraction, by the yearning for completeness. This is one of the most important aspects of the law of karma.
As you learn to leave alone the activity of unconsciously trying to be the mindbody that you think that you are - the mindbody that this "you" is currently flowing through - and you learn to move as this one that you truly are - this "you" of you; the very heart of existence - steadily, consciously and momentarily, the continuity of the ever deepening of this innermost as it keeps on entering its manifestation, through this mindbody that you find yourself flowing through, allows you to simply bubble in the sheer joy, pleasure, peace, delightfulness and stillness that this "you" of you is.
When you hear that my body has ceased to exist, please do not feel sad. Just look deeply and see that my life and work continue in so many friends, so many young people, in their own ways and through their work. I will continue in everyone and everything I have ever touched. I have nothinng to fear and nothing to regret.
Ian Stevenson … spent 40 years studying young children who spontaneously recall past lives, compiling data from over 2,600 case studies in his massive book, Reincarnation and Biology: A Contribution to the Etiology of Birthmarks and Birth Defects. He has found numerous incidences in which children recall specific details of their past life, and has documented, in some instances, startling physiological evidence – birthmarks and birth defects – that seem to carry over from their former existence. In a number of cases, especially ones in which the past life ended in violent death, Stevenson has found, and photographed, highly unusual birthmarks on the children that perfectly match the placement of the mortal wounds that ended their remembered past life.
…
The recollection usually commences at a very young age – between two and four – and ends within the next five years. Stevenson has accompanied some of these children to meet the families, corroborating their specific memories. “The birthmarks and birth defects in these cases do not lend themselves easily to explanations other than reincarnation,” he notes. In the cases he has studied, the average period between death and rebirth is fifteen months.
"Human mistakes and inaccuracies are no less important than divinity. The human condition creates divinity in the higher self. Thus, it is very important to be human and not to shun or hate our humanity. The incredible process of being human allows for the higher self to acknowledge and extract divinity from one's trials and tribulations..The truth is one must be fully human for the divine part of self to be more in tune. Rejecting the human body assures one will have to come back, return to the lessons here on earth. It means ‘you didn't get it'," counsels Kuan Yin. "The indigenous tribes are the most powerful as many of them are so in harmony with nature as to be really, really divinely human. They're so in touch with their humanity that they're totally in tune with their Diva nature. They know that human/nature harmony is the crux of spirituality. Of course there is always the criticism: that "better than" mindset. Humans say they're better than each other. And they say they're better than nature. But they're not. It's ludicrous to compare the intelligence of other living creatures to human intelligence. Plants have enormous intelligences and spirituality. However, the "better than" mindset greatly contributes to the ongoing environmental destruction. The earth is trying to teach humans that everything is spirit. Eventually, humans will learn. It's just another way to understand divinity. Spirit works through one's own humanity and the earth. Everything here (on earth) is for the divine evolution of all energies. "
"I'm reminded of how passionate Kuan Yin is about the importance of being human on this earth," continues trance channel, Lena Lees.
"It's the most important thing in your existence," ordinates Kuan Yin. "Your existence is eternal. This phase (of your soul) is so important because you learn so much in human form. This is where the individual's ‘spark' or existence can expand into bigger, more powerful energies, not entities. Entities are closed systems whereas energies are open systems," differentiates Kuan Yin. Some energies are not as potent. The only way to develop a potent energy is to spend an existence on the earth. There, one can develop a compassionate nature so that when passing onto other dimensions, one can be of help. When one leaves one's earth body one will need to fully understand compassion to be helpful, effective. When you leave the earth you have a lot more power. It won't be ego-based power. Rather it will be beyond ego, beyond "good" and "evil". In fact, "evil" is just a label as everything is intermixed. The pendulum just appears to swing back and forth."
"Humanity is misunderstood. It's a powerful place to be when it is fully experienced. However, it is often underestimated," explains Kuan Yin.
"Unless one fully experiences one's humanity, one will have to experience earth again and again. One will have to repeat the lessons offered here upon the earth. It is possible that one need not have to reincarnate. Many don't live up to their full potential because they're afraid of death. I want to emphasize here that only the body dies. People get too attached (to their physicality). But, they have to. One's consciousness must be fairly strong in order for the soul's desire to continue. The more we feel our humanity, the more help we can give and the more joy we can create.
"You can't change people. You can love them and give to them. If they can't receive, it's not a reason not to love them, unless impossible conditions have been set upon the relationship, unless it is a kind of conditional love. Do your best. However, don't fall into the trap of getting a reward for doing good deeds. Do a good deed because it is the right thing to do.
"It is important to accept that the human condition is temporary, fleeting. It's filled with pain and suffering, beauty, strange tastes, odors of death, everything that exists in the universe.
Problems are created when one is so obsessed with his/her own death, when one is too attached to their life. This attachment to a single incarnation causes the species to play out gruesome deaths. If you knew you were more than just this life, you would not plunder the land, each other.
"So many souls, energies have a certain perception of others. They believe they're separate from each other. Such perceptions can collect into an energy agreeing upon a specific direction the country will take. The lesson is acceptance of differences. Don't forget you are a part of everything and everything is a part of you."
"If every human being recognized the power of the love and forgiveness principle, all consciousness on earth would change instantly. Indeed, thoughts can change the course of history. Sometimes, all it takes is enough people knowing about a certain concept."
"Unless one fully experiences one's humanity, one will have to experience earth again and again. One will have to repeat the lessons offered here upon the earth. It is possible that one need not have to reincarnate. However, many don't live up to their full potential because they're afraid of death. I want to emphasize here that only the body dies. People get too attached to their physicality. However, they have to. One's consciousness of the physical must be fairly strong in order for the soul's desire to continue. The more we feel our humanity, the more help we can give and the more joy we can create."
"The agreement, then, is to go on believing in that particular flavor. Here's where reincarnation and its opportunity for experiencing a vast array of perspectives, "agreements", enters in. Another life offers another opportunity, a chance to "switch flavors" so to speak. Taking oneself too personally, however, can cause a soul to get caught up, stuck in redundancy: in a particular (and unfortunate) flavor. In such instances the individual is forgetting he has the ability to choose his flavors, his lives. Please avoid taking even life's positive accomplishments or identities too seriously, as well. People can get "hung up" in similar lifetimes, identifying too strongly with even an incarnation's positive achievements and personas. Clinging to any past identity (expansive or limiting), then, acts as a roadblock, preventing one from progressing to other flavors (beliefs and experiences)."
"You know why little babies weep?"
"The little babies are missing their families from their past lives. The babies have old souls and the old souls have to shrink to become little babies. The tears loosen their memories so they can slide away. They cry at the life they have lost, and then they cry at everything they'll forget."
When I was an animal I evolved through selfishness.
Now that I am a man my evolution can be achieved only through self-sacrifice.
A virtuous man or woman who is determined to develop the Supreme Enlightened Mind, should thus develop it: I have to lead all living beings to put a stop to (reincarnation) and escape (suffering), and when they have been so led, not one of them in fact stops (reincarnating) or escapes suffering. Why? Because, if a Bodhisattva believes in the notion of an ego, a personality, or a living being, he is not a true Bodhisattva.
