And the seasons they go round and round
And the painted ponies go up and down
We're captive on the carousel of time
We can't return, we can only look behind from where we came
And go round and round and round in the circle game
And the seasons they go round and round
And the painted ponies go up and down
We're captive on the carousel of time
We can't return, we can only look behind from where we came
And go round and round and round in the circle game
Where the search for the truth is conducted with a wink and a nod
And where power and position are equated with the grace of God
These times are famine for the soul while for the senses it's a feast
From the edge of my country, as far as you see, looking east
I only fear ignorance, stupidity, and lack of common sense.
There was a time when meadow, grove, and stream,
The earth, and every common sight,
To me did seem
Apparelled in celestial light,
The glory and the freshness of a dream.
Every time you opt in to kindness
Make one connection, used to divide us
It echoes all over the world
You are just the expression of your own potentiality triggered somewhen.
You, as you know yourself,
You, are just a memory of your future.
And a whisper of your past,
Your future took place long time ago.
Live your present,
Change your past.
Become your future!
As I go seeing people, I greatly fear I may be seeing some of them for the last time. Morbid really, but I suppose realistic too.
-Sandy Woodward-
Man did not invent TIME. Man merely defined it.
we do live in a fractal reality
the experience of time has a fractal quality
the experience of time has a fractal quality
"If ever there comes a time when the women of the world come together purely and simply for the benefit of {hu}mankind, it will be a force such as the world has never known."
May we remember to measure beauty and joy in our lives by brilliance and not by size or length of time -- many times, great beauty and joy are found in very small things and in very brief moments.
Time spent in reconnaissance is seldom wasted. -Sandy Woodward-
Regardless of the time spent, our senses see great love as a brief, shining moment while our hearts know eternity.
People compose the schedules they do out of the priorities they have; and someone who says otherwise is deceiving himself about what he really values. The same thing applies to money that applies to time. I make a practice of watching what people do, never what they say. Whatever is important, to anyone sane, he will make a place for it; people live out their values. Values are different in this respect from "ideals," which are typically vain and effete and thus exist mostly for the sake of promoting self-delusions.
Time is measure of Performance.
Age is a number which puts us in chronological order of time. It does not have to dictate how old we feel or act.
We have a funny concept of time in this culture. We revere it as we revere money, yet we rarely spend any of it on ourselves. We complain that we can't make what time we have go around, yet day after day we spend our allotment doing things we don't really want to be doing.
Kairos and tide wait for no man. In the Greek tongue, there are two words for time: chronos and kairos. The first means time as the sun passes through the heavens. But kairos means the necessary moment - the critical instant when one must catch the tide or be swept under and utterly destroyed.
I fear that you will believe as we all believe that we can keep breaking into our store of time without counting. Our lives seem infinite until we reach in one day to find how little of them is left.
Our jobs are to create, clearly and strongly, the "What" of our lives, and then to trust the Universe for the exactly right "When, Where, Who, and How".
Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable
"They have heard its voice and listened to it, and the river has become holy to them, as it has to me. "Have you also learned that secret from the river; that there is no such thing as time?" That the river is everywhere at the same time, at the source and at the mouth, at the waterfall, at the ferry, at the current, in the ocean and in the mountains, everywhere and that the present only exists for it, not the shadow of the past nor the shadow of the future."
Time and Space are modes by which we think, and not conditions by which we live
Better three hours too soon than a minute too late.
Procrastination is like a credit card: it's a lot of fun until you get the bill.
"Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice but for those who love-- time is eternity."
So I guess all of my experiences and this are brought together to tell the world that love is timeless, but you dont have all the time in the world. So when you fall, fall hard. And when you love, love hard. Because in the end, all you'll have... all you'll need... is love.
