Many years ago I would check these AM/PM videos out from the library when I was trying to test out different styles and practices. I started my day off with the AM practice and am reminded as to why I so enjoyed them. Rod leads through gentle stretches that awaken the body while optimizing the practice in bringing it all together in the breathwork and centering at the end. I will definitely be starting my day with this practice more often. What a great example of the timeliness of yoga; styles may change but a powerful practice remains so.

Although I had to alter some poses (for the "less flexible"), by the end I felt the nearly impossible combination of calm and energized. Thank you.

@NOMIKENAN, thank you for sharing your practice with us.

I often find myself very wound up as I get ready for bed. This routine (I've only done it once so far) relaxed me deeply and I expect to have a truly restful sleep tonight. I'm not very advanced, but I was able to do these poses; I particularly liked that he offered the alternative of using the block and strap for the less flexible among us. Great video!

Seems like it would have been a nice practice but could never see it. I tried just following his vice instructions but without the video portion, not very doable. thank you.

Went fast and had some challenging aspects (in a good way). I really enjoyed it.

Relatively easy and slow followed by meditation and breathing exercises.

A perfect way to start and end each day with a simple yet very effective stretch and breathing practice. I feel just great!

I come back to this workout often... I have a lot of anger and grief. My cousin who was more like a sister was murdered this past year and... some days I wake up, angry, worried, anxious. This helps me center let her go and be at peace or ,'s like my shadow. I drag it around with me all day.

o my god... I love this workout. I feel totally centered. This workout is awesome if you wake up feeling unbalanced. It really does make you feel like you perform at your peak performance. The breath work at the end is helps you "digest" the work you just did.

it may be because i have a nice sized rump--- but the lying down side bends were super uncomfortable.

This is my favorite morning routine! A perfect start for every day!

Excellent in every way. I did this after a run and it was a great way to wind down and stretch afterwards.

Excellent way to focus on your spine and to tap in on strength and vitality contained within it.

This was great! The length was perfect for the morning. A bit challenging, but not too much for starting the day. I feel great.

I love the speed and length of time for this video. I do it happily several times a week now. Everything about it is soothing, and refreshing to my mind, body and spirit. A great way to begin the day!

I was really angry at the world when I started the PM Yoga but the concentration on the breathing, poses and stretches has brought me back to a more balanced state. Thank you! This will be a favourite!

i thought this was the perfect yoga practice to start my day :)

I truly enjoyed this routine, the stretches, and poses. It really seemed to flow very well. The strange comments about the "flame behind my navel" and inner light was a bit much for me though and I would prefer my stretches without the new age twist. This is just my personal preference.
