When I click on 'watch now' nothing happens. I continue to get a screen that asks me to download it to my off-line library. I was hoping to watch it without doing that. Thank you! I am a new Gaia member and I am in 'Gaia heaven'!!! Thank you so much!! Heather

I felt that the depth of what yoga is really about i.e. deepening Connection, was masterfully woven into this seemingly simple practice. Thank you Rodney Yee for sharing your skillful means!

The poses here are not complicated, but for a beginners video, curiously little accommodations for beginners.

Thank you for your feedback, we're sorry that the modifications weren't right for you! You might enjoy this Yoga Foundations series with Rodney Yee:

Wonderful way to start my day both physically and mentally. Have done this routine for years and it is the mainstay of my exercise. If I miss I notice it in both mind and body.

Over time it definitely brings benefits.

There used to be a more updated pm yoga that went with this series (2007). It seems that it has been replaced with the 1998 version. The 2007 was my favourite video and the reason I rejoined. Are you able to put the 2007 PM yoga video back on the site?

Thank you for commenting! We have not removed any of Rodney's videos from the site. Here's the link to all of his classes:

Both Rodney and Patricia are lovely calm teachers who clearly come from a spritual teaching with their yogo -perfect for beginners and a really great pactsie to have as a routine start/end to the day. Thank you for the lovingly crafted work.

The membership has been useless to me! Too expensive $95.00 a year for nothing! I'm still trying to stream the videos. None of the recommended fixes have worked! Issues with their purple player. I have to login each time I'm going to use a video! So much for relaxing and meditating!!!

a4d, posted on September 23, 2016

because it's worked beautifully for me for years now. Not that I understand what's wrong with logging in each time. And I've used purple player on several devices, although I have to agree that it's not my favourite software. But it works -- I load videos onto my tablet when I head to cottages or overnight stays.

This was wonderful for me today - I like to have different yoga practices to do in the morning, some gentle like this and others that fire me up like the wonderful Ashley! Thank you Rodney. You are loved. x

The instruction and music are relaxing and lovely...but I wanted to wake up and feel energized. This almost made me fall asleep again I was so relaxed! This AM practice just isn't what I am looking for right now.

Gaiam videos were part of my journey into yoga. They let me do a home practice every day and Rodney Yee and Patricia Walden bookmarked the beginning and end of it. I still love Rodney's videos -- and have done many of them here. Patricia, it was so great to reconnect with this one. Everything is still valid. Thank you Gaiam for making it easy for me to do yoga for as long as I have ;D

Yes, this practice is a favorite in our library! We appreciate your comment.

The ESSENCE of Yoga is present in this practice. The emphasis on what to lengthen and points of alignment is very helpful. Thank You, Patricia.

So appreciate his calm, peaceful and grounded approach and instruction. His Iyengar based training comes through so clearly. I enjoyed this class which I first did years ago. Was nice to come back to after a long walk this AM.

randallpietrocci, posted on July 13, 2015

I love this, and do both everyday. I'm travelling though, so I don't always have internet. I tried to download this for the purple player, but it won't work. I tried another different video, which did work. I think this one has some issue, which is just too bad!

This was my first yoga video ever, I received it as a gift about 15 years ago. Tonight I decided to revisit this (now long lost DVD), it brought back the delight of the first time discovering yoga! Such a great memory and experience!

Love, love, love this morning routine! Balance, stretch and relax before beginning the day, what a joy. :-)

yngshiangtan, posted on May 17, 2015

Patricia's postures are so inspiring, an example, when seated in dandasana, top half body is in tadasana ! If I don't look at bottom half I would have thought she is standing instead of sitting. Most are "short" but she is "tall" in dandasana. Love her instructions, pace of class, and soothing voice too. Thank you for making this class available !

Wonderful PM session. So gentle and graceful and so perfect after a hectic day. Thankyou so much feeling terrific. Namaste.

I've been doing this video for years, originally as a dvd. (Well, two because I kept misplacing them.) I've always looked forward to starting my morning with this lovely stretch and meditation. It's amazing who calm and energized I feel to take on the day. I'm so glad this and other great yoga videos are available online.

About 17 yrs ago I began my journey w/ ~ Gaiam videos. Our community had no yoga studio & home practice via VHS was the only way, then.
Susan Deason & Rodney Yee were featured in a series, which on occasion I still use. However, replaced since w/ CD versions.
***This particular sequence I revisit often, when I may not feel like putting a whole hour into my daily (sometimes 2x) practice.
A special thanks to all the teachers for the wisdom shared in these videos. I am grateful to Gaiam for this site & My Yoga Online, as I can continue at home or mobile w/ my devotion to yoga & great health. Living in a remote Northern Ontario city, we have limited resources but at 55, I credit my strength & good health to having taking the time daily (even when I didn't want to) to learn the art of yoga.

I've done yoga for years and actually found it hard to twists without warming up, I find, are dangerous. Dislike the idea of beginners not feeling up to "put your head on your shins." There must be better ones to dive in here!

Music...not my favorite though. Very relaxing; good instruction.

I had hurt my lower back about a month and a half ago. This yoga practice/meditation has been a wonderful soft reentry to yoga and exercise again, aside from my physio exercises. As well, I have got the added benefits of a mindfulness and peace in the morning.

By the end of the AM Yoga, I felt amazing! Perfect for a stiff body that's brand new to yoga. The way Rodney gets my mind centered though - that's magic. Love this one!

I have fun doing a lot of the new yoga sessions, but always return to the Patricia Walden ones. This is the shortest session (20 minutes) I've come across, and it's amazing that she has put such a variety of poses in place for so many purposes in just those 20 minutes. I have the DVD, but with GaiamTV I can now take it with me wherever I go. Very cool. Thanks for including these in your selection.
