I know The Firm is fast paced, but if you watch it before you try it, that helps a lot. I only wish that Gaiam would let you know the days suggested to do each episode.

I'm new to Gaiam workouts, so I'm trying quite a few out. So far, I've found all of the more cardio based workouts to be a little too fast. If the tempo could come down just a tad (even a half beat would make a difference), it would still keep your heart rate up without the confusion of keeping up with quickly changing routines. Any suggestions of which routines aren't lightening speed?

I'm not a beginner - I'm a dancer & a gymnast - I just don't understand the rush ?!? :(

I would have loved to join you - I'm quite quick to pick up routine from an instructor - but the rhythm of this practice is so fast as though it's only meant for those who know the routine :(

Love all things Firm! I love all their videos except ones that focus on cardio only or dance moves since it seems incredibly confusing. These types of videos for cardio are great however!

Enjoyed this for a fast workout!

This is rated as a beginners video, I couldn't follow past 2 mins. Not that I'm out of shape, but there is a new move every 20 secs or so and I found that by the time I figured out the move, she was changing it. Probably a good video for someone who is used to this type of exercise, the problem is less with the video and more of an issue with Gaiam rating this as beginners.

I consider myself intermediate to fairly advanced - workout wise- and this was a great, quick workout. Great for short days or to be combined with other videos. Mostly focused on keeping your heartrate pumping (and boy does it!) with core-focused moves (alternating lunges that require you to squeeze your core, knee lifts, etc.). Definitely worth a try!
