As a beginner I found this far far too fast. I don't yet know any of the poses so I kept having to break focus to turn and look at what the poses are and how they should be as well as trying to keep up with the pace. Because of this I wouldn't say this was a beginners class. It would be great to have a beginners class that demonstrated the poses involved before the class began and went at a pace that a beginner could actually keep up with.

I just did this for the first time and agree it is a little fast for beginners. Overall, I thought this was great and will continue to do the class. Another option for beginners is Rodney Yee's AM Yoga for Beginners. He created this many years ago (15-20) - the pace and poses are good for beginners.

Exactly what I needed! Will do the P.M tonight, thank you so much!

With practice I think I will end up really liking this video, but as an absolute beginner and someone who has great difficulty with flexibility (one of the reasons I am trying to start a yoga practice) Rodney went a little fast for me for the first time. Again, I think with practice, this will turn out quite well, but I initially felt rushed.

I've learned so much from Rodney over the years and this practice was a nice way to awaken this AM. His cues are so precise and helpful to bring awareness of alignment and to focus the mind. I always breath freer after practicing with him. Thank you for this gentle practice.

On a sleepy morning, when I couldn't get started with work, I took a break to do this. It's simple but not too easy... and I felt alert and energized after I'd finished. Oh, and my brain woke up. Will keep this one on my playlist.

I like a little more delicious evening practice, I would have liked the opportunity to hold the poses longer and savor them. Also, I love how Rodney will give you the opportunity to get you into the pose and then he gives you silence for a few moments to enjoy. Unfortunately, for me at least, Colleen's flow has no silence, her words just ran on and on. On a brighter note she does have a soothing voice. I've been practicing for years and know the poses by heart, I don't have to look at the screen to see what to do, I can easily move by voice direction. I found this practice confusing. I think the instruction was a little off. Colleen says "Stand on your feet" when your lying on your back and you should be PLACING your feet on the floor. I heard stand on your feet and I was thinking how the heck did I manage to miss the cue to get off my back in order to stand, lol! There were several little things like that.

We did some decent twists and cobblers a few times, I would been happy to do one long delish one with a forward bend added and I would have loved to do happy baby and cat cow. Colleen did a wonderful Shavasana. That was the highlight of the session! So many DVD's try to cheat you out on that, I usually stay longer but she gave us a nice amount of time and her meditation was great!

Maybe I'm too finicky and just need to do my own evening practice, hehe. In the meantime I'll continue to search the site for something I really enjoy. I'm loving the site, there are SO many choices!!

The title said AM and PM yoga. I was wanting AM and when it started it was PM. It didn't give me a choice. Now that it's over and I scroll down I see there are many from which to choose. I'll try an AM tomorrow. The PM was a very nice, gentle practice. It woke up my body and I'm now ready to do my physical therapy exercises.

Thanks for your honest feedback. It was refreshing to get your take. Yoga is such an evolving practice, both as student and teacher. Blessings in your practice!

I've been out of practice for some time and this little AM practice is a sweet friendly one for getting back into it; some gentle twists and bends and a focus on the breath.

This is a very gentle morning, beginners practice that can be modified for more advanced student.

It was perfect for me today after having missed three consecutive days of yoga.

I really, really like Colleen's guided meditation at the end of this slow, relaxing end of day practice. The use of my hands to help quiet the energy, especially in my head, was very effective. Thank you so much!

I just love Rodney's classes, they are so grounding and calming, just what i need.

I was really disappointed by the 7min AM meditation by Rodney Yee. I felt it had you focusing too much on outside sounds and all over the place then really focusing on one thing to clear your mind. Maybe it was just too short. All other meditation videos I have done on this site have been great though.

This was my first video from this new subscription. It was a great way to start. I know this is just what I need right now. Thank you.

I am sttarting yoga again later in life, this is a perfect start to reawaken the body to stretch and movement. I really liked it.

this is the way to awaken each day. Nice! TY, again, Rodney.

Beautiful. nice attention to detail and good length for before bed. For beginners.

i've been looking for a good morning get back into yoga routine and this is it. simple, stretching, and short enough for before work after meditation. love it.

Tokarz, posted on January 23, 2013

I really liked this because it was not only a good stretch after sleeping all night, but energizing!

mumblebump, posted on November 17, 2012

A nice practice, but fast moving. Couldn't breathe in and out that fast! Moves from pose to pose without taking time in them.

Beautiful series again thanks Rodney. I feel fresh and enlivened and ready for my day., posted on November 10, 2012

I love this practice by Colleen Staidman. She and Rodney are awesome yoga instructors! Thank you to you both.

bbskyrox, posted on August 24, 2012

The setting is gorgeous and calming and the music is gentle and soothing but I found it not relaxing or restorative trying to keep wrenching my neck out of the pose to look and see if it was time to move to the next pose. If there was just a little music cue, like a chime or something to let us know to change, or a simple voice over it would be fine. It's easy enough to follow along but I found this video totally useless without these audio guides.

i felt so good and relaxed and felt like my head was clear of all todays worrries and stress.

lisajennings, posted on June 18, 2012

A nice mellow way to start your day. Not very taxing, but restorative. Loved the lapping of the waves and the soft tones of the instructor.

BethC, posted on June 5, 2012

I didn't like this one. Unlike the AM Yoga for Your Day series, we never held a pose long enough to really feel a stretch. I did this in the morning and wasn't able to work out the kinks from sleeping the night before.

Felt pretty worried before this, I feel like I can handle life better now
