I learned some tai chi years ago, but this is a different form and I realize I'd forgotten almost everything. This routine (in its entirety) is hard to follow at first, but after a few days, it began to click. Now I plan to incorporate some tai chi into every day. David-Dorian Ross is a fantastic teacher, and Daisy makes everything simpler to follow. Thank you!

Overall, this is great series. David-Dorian Ross is a very personable and knowledgeable Tai Chi and Qigong instructor and the way he and Daisy Lee demonstrate the movements makes them very easy to follow... if you can watch them. Unfortunately, episode 2 is badly distorted. It is nearly unwatchable on the Samsung Smart Hub and not much better in the browser on Windows 8. I have tried both the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome and the video playback is equally poor. Thus far, the third episode has been mostly ok, but if this wasn't just a refresher for me, I'd likely be lost by now. I hope Gaiam can resolve their video playback issues on this, and other, video series, because it is quite disappointing. It's a shame, because this series, in particular, is quite good otherwise.

I always see people doing tai chi in the park, and it always looks so complex and hard to learn. With the excellent instruction by David-Dorian Ross, i'm easily learning it! I have spent a whole week just mastering Standing Like a Tree and The Opening of the Heart routine. Normally, I'd just want to rush to the next step, but allowing myself to stay with these two simple routines has been a great way to practice patience and being in the moment. I'll definitely be adding these practices to the yoga classes I teach.
