Ahimsa and Finding Peace

Available worldwide

This hatha practice by Mara Branscombe is all about self care, compassion and peace.

While practicing yoga, we may naturally witness thoughts inside us that are rooted in negativity, separation, anxiety and fear. Yoga reminds us how to listen, pause, take a breath, and let go. When we act and embody Ahimsa (non-harming) we emit harmonious vibrations, therefore encouraging others to live peacefully as well.Embodying a state or a feeling of Ahimsa while we are on our mats creates a powerful channel for attuning to our most peaceful self.

This practice supports the gathering of self care and compassion with meditation, mudra, mantra, and a peaceful warrior sequence for shoulders, hips, quadriceps, and spine.

So calming, deeply nourishing, and well-rounded.
I am a real fan of those practices that include more of the limbs of yoga.
Thank you!

What a beautiful, deeply grounding practice. I really appreciated working with mantra, mudra and breath. For those of you who really enjoy a physical practice, I think there is enough "work" in this class to satisfy you. I am so grateful to have you back here Mara. Your classes go so beyond the physical practice to a deeply spiritual, meditative space. You have helped me grow so much. Thank you. Namaste.

This has been my fave video in the whole two years of being with Gaia. It felt so healing for me, and I really felt a strong sense of inner peace at the end. I even had a sneaky little smile on my face when in shavasana. Thank you so much! :)

Great practice after a couple weeks absent from yoga. Calming and challenging at the same time. I loved the flow, and I feel refreshed and ready to get back into a yoga routine.
