Balance Work on the Foam Roller

Available worldwide

Balancing develops our proprioception and wakes up our deep intrinsic tissues responsible for joint positioning. The foam roller is a dynamic surface and as such can facilitate our connection to our core muscles.

This class is great for deep dynamic strengthening and core support. You can work on gradually increasing the level of difficulty with the balance work.

Contraindications: Work with the most basic options first to minimize risk of falling off the roller. Please move slowly and mindfully to prevent excessive wobbling and modify the pose to make it easier if you are having trouble balancing.

Featuring Music by Zamir Dhanji and Ben Kunin

Everything Anita Seiz does is amazing, original, challenging yet immensely enjoyable. A beautiful relaxing voice that flows with the movements gently guiding you through the class, by far my favourite teacher, many thanks Anita!

I really enjoyed this. The moves were very subtle but very effective! And I love being able to use my foam roller for something fun and less torturous!

Hello & thank you for your comments & question!
There are different densities of foam rollers - I prefer the extra firm kind. Here is a link to Balanced Body:
High durability - less likely to dent and malform.
If you need a softer roller for massaging sensitive tissues, you may run into the denting problem which will be an issue for the balancing work as the surface will be uneven.

Hope that helps!

Anita, Thank you for your classes, they have become a weekly staple. I really want to do your foam roller classes, just wondering if there is anything difference in foam rollers I should be aware of before I go out and purchase one?? Thanks!
