Marla, thank you so much for such a gentle yet meaningful practice of calm balanced stretching. I have ostoarthritis and really need to build up my core for my neck and spine.

I feel like a relaxed new person since I started with your workouts. Just the right movement and yet enough to feel the stretch.

I loved this practice and will surely be doing it more often. For me, it was the perfect balance of strength and flexibility. There was a nice flow that got the blood pumping to my arms. Like Bobbi, I'm 54 and just getting back to my practice. Plus, I am at least 60 over what I should be! The stretches and transitions were so gentle yet firm and Marla's voice is very calming. I melted in shavasana, it left me dreamy. This is a very good all around practice and she surprised us with a few asana's that aren't practiced a lot and I was thinking oh yea! I forgot how good this one feels! For me...this is a perfect vid to do if I can only do one practice a day and I'd do it in the evening. I obviously can't say enough about it! Thank you and Namaste!

Thank you for your class today. I am 56 and just getting buck to yoga. My body is not a strong but I look forward to gradual strengthening. I will do this class daily until I can increase - but I am in no hurry.

This is a great practice for beginners. I really like it - I keep coming back to it so that I can practice the basics. My legs are too stiff to fully do downward dog properly. What else can I do to improve while doing this pose?

I've been doing this video for like two years now and love it. I also purchased the beginer yoga with Padma video, and usually alternate between the two. I'm ready for something new and a little more challenging. I still consider myself beginner, and pretty inflexible. Does anyone have any recomendations for me as far as what video I should purchase next to mix in with these other two that I have? I'de like it to be about 45-60 minutes and for the poses to flow well together, as this video does. Thank you!

Wonderful video for a beginner like me. I wouldn't call it "easy", because for me it still incorporated poses that I found challenging, but it put more focus on the mechanics of those poses and I liked that.

I really loved this video. I had been doing yoga for about 6 months and really enjoying it. I hurt my back during a coughing fit and had to stop yoga for a couple of weeks. Once I got checked out and knew there were no disc issues I wanted to start the yoga back up. This was a perfect gentle way to begin. It was just so relaxing and well instructed. I feel good.

As a beginner, I really appreciate her helping me visualize my breath and my body position. Great pace as well!
