Beautiful Kia. Thank you. I feel amazing...

I liked the pace of this class. The reminders of dedication and focus of the practice were nice. I enjoyed the breathwork at the end. I was really hoping for more of the Bhakti philosophy to be incorporated, and I didn't notice anything of Kundalini style in this practice either. That was disappointing. more Bhakti please!

KeithA@GTV, posted on December 16, 2014

@Lorax1377 - Glad you got something from this class. If you are really wanting more Kundalini, Zain Saraswati Jamal delivers lovely fusion practices, and Janet Stone, has some nice Bhakti in her practices. Check them out, I think you'll like what you find!

Lorax1377, posted on December 27, 2014

I did a Janet Stone one. That was pretty good. I added some more of hers to my playlist. I didn't like the one practice I did with Zain a while back. It was too fast, didn't stay with any of the poses or kriyas or breathwork for any period of time. No attention to the energy work involved. I've enjoyed the Kundalini practices I've done with Kia Miller and with Gloria Latham, and I'm looking forward to trying some of Anne Novak's. I'm really looking for some practices that are specifically Bhakti, and this wasn't it.

love this one- so well rounded, gentle yet challenging- thank you

NicoleUrdang, posted on May 8, 2013

So centering.
I found this to be between intermediate and moderate.
It would be great to have a longer, separate version of the ending breath work, if possible.
Thank you.

This was beautiful! Thank you Kia for the lovely and thoughtful narration. I really appreciate the pranayama and meditative visualization at the end of the practice, it made my practice feel more complete today. Also gorgeous scenery location!!! I will definitely do this one again :) Namaste

A great surprise--I got to try out some yoga poses not normally found in these videos! I will say if you have bony parts you may want to use extra padding for some of the poses (I have a sensitive pelvic bone, and needed a pillow for some of the extensions on my stomach) but otherwise, a great practice. Stay tuned for the boat!

This is a very expanding and grounding practice. Your voice is lovely, enco uraging, and your words are informing and kind. I love the"heart as a lotus flower opening" analogy.

Your commentary was such a sweet accompaniment to the class. I enjoyed all of this even at times when my body let me know that I've not been doing yoga as often as I did in years before.
Thanks Kia-for such a nice balanced class.

kimhbs, posted on September 6, 2014

I loved this flow, simple poses for me as a beginner yogi and really enjoyed your guidance to refine each pose. Thank you Kia, it was a beautiful start to my day! ;-)

NicoleUrdang, posted on September 7, 2014

A truly wonderful practice.
I found it very balanced and not only backbend oriented. Also, no intense backbends.
Loved the end with alternate nostril breath work; however, the breath pace was way too fast for me.

Not for everyone. See your doctor first. :)
However, good introduction to possibilities.
