Blessings: The Tsoknyi Nangchen Nuns of Tibet (2009)

Only available in Canada, United States

Join Buddhist teacher Tsoknyi Rinpoche III and a small group of western students on a journey to the remote, mountainous region of Nangchen in Eastern Tibet, and meet the Tsoknyi Nangchen Nuns who practice an ancient yogic tradition.

The nunneries of this tradition were destroyed during the Cultural Revolution, but after twenty years, the few remaining nuns began to rebuild. View the reconstruction and learn about the growing number of nuns who live and practice in Nangchen.

This is my favorite selection that you have and today it is freezing repeatedly. I find peak times like evenings and weekends worse to watch your titles. I hope this helps to fix the problem!!!

I loved it. I'm awestruck by the depth of their commitment and unusual courage in living a life without many material comforts. The movie really takes you into the heart of their experience and gives you a sense of the joy and love that is awakened in their lives. Truly inspiring and radically powerful in opening our eyes to the spiritual poverty present in most of western society today. I wish I could personally hug each and every one of them for caring and supporting deep transformation on this planet. Their collective LIGHT is huge!

Wow, I personally feel an attachment to the Nuns of Tibet. Why can't we all get along like the nun. Someday I wish to visit there myself.
