That was wonderful. So simply put but encourages deeper thinking. For me, at least!

Seth audio clips "...You form your past, your present and your future. You are responsible for each daily moment, individually and en masse."..."You make your own reality."
A concept which at the beginning can be very scary but once accepted is truly liberating.
Thank you for sharing David.

Thank you for sharing too! There's a lot of wisdom in those words and I really like the quote.

For me, it's really liberating to know that we can transform the past here in the present moment. What an amazing gift...

Whenever we reframe something, like your example of seeing people who push your buttons with their family or friends, we give ourselves the gift of a new perspective. Luckily, there are many ways to do this. I have one I came up with called the 180 degree shift. You ask yourself what is the exact opposite thought or opinion I could be having right now? Then, you try it on for size, just to see how it feels. Surprisingly, you may prefer it, or aspects of it, to your former thought.

Thank you for taking the time to share your insights. I always welcome them.

This is an excellent idea.

If you make this agreement with yourself it will, at the very least, bring attention and awareness.

Hi Nicole,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I rather like the idea of the 180 degree shift. It's so easy to get stuck in the idea that our perspectives are THE perspectives and I love how your exercise can be used to literally put yourself in someone else's shoes.

I'll be practicing!

Hope all is well with you,
