Mary Clare Sweet, I have been watching your videos for over a year now and they have literally changed my life for the better. You have a way with words, I always feel challenged by your classes even after doing them 30 times over or more! I love the movements you choose, it allows me to discover new ways for my body to feel challenged and relaxed at the same time.

I am so grateful for you and your classes! Hope to meet you one day in person to give you a big ol' hug and thank you personally for all you've done for me :)

Absolutely loved this practice to get me started again after a pause getting myself on the mat!!
I too am on carpet but just modified to keep the movement going.

This practice is no good if you are practicing on carpet. You can't get the slide needed. That should be in the description.

wow great class, thank you ! I did it because my neck and shoulders are playing up and want to get my core going and it certainly did!
I kept the dogs out for once as sliding around on my t-shirt took up most of the floor - it didn't stop them scratching at the door to come in - off to open it right now - thanks again, will be back for more, Ellen

That was AWESOME. I didn't feel like doing core, so I thought I probably would benefit ;) I am so glad I did.
That was really fun, MC - beautiful energy on all levels.
If you are about to do this practice, there will be some sliding on the floor (on purpose!), so either get a blanket if you are on a non-carpeted floor, or if you have carpet (like me) then MC suggests paper plates, which is a great idea and made me hit pause and search through the nether regions of my kitchen cupboards - I ended up using long ziplock tupperware lids! See, it's a practice to stretch your imagination too, haha. My 10-year-old daughter walked in and was highly entertained at me doing side crow slides with lids on my feet - by the way, laughing makes it more challenging...

HI MC! I love all your classes so much! You always make me feel good and I laughed out loud at your jokes in this video (which is saying something because I was also gasping for breath). I think the hardest exercise for me was the toe roll - I couldn't do it because it hurt my feet too much. Any suggestions for how I can improve?

yes! Do you know what broken toe pose is?
Practice that for 10-15 breaths, up to one minute at a time.
Then hold plank and try to pull your forearms to the toes and the arches of your feet to your forearms simultaneously.
