When I find my meditation or yoga practice getting cluttered with my thoughts, coming back to counting my breath always helps. This did the trick for me today! Namaste.

I would like to incorporate this breathing exercise into my class. When is it better to do- at the beginning of the class or at the end? I am mostly interested in the first one- purifying the breath (counting from 4 to 7 and back) and the last one - counting from 20 to 1. I usually start the class with some breathing and then do alternate nostril breathing at the end. Now I would like to add these too.
