Dragon Quest: Sacred Sites of Britain (1996)

Available worldwide

Throughout history, the dragon has been a symbol of life force, a living fusion of light and flesh, male and female, where earth and spirit are reconciled, and through which whose body runs natures power.

All across the British Isles thousands of stone monuments and circles dot the landscape along the path of the dragon. A plethora of stone circles and landscape temples reveal the mysteries of the ley lines and the earth’s chakra system. Explore the sacred symbolism and mythology associated with magical sites from Stonehenge and Avebury to Lindisfarne and Iona.

I've been to England twice and gotten to visit a few of these sites....but as I watched saw some I haven't....what a treat to get to visit again through here as well as others that I haven't but now have gotten to see by film! enjoyed it very much, thank you for sharing!

If for whatever reason your country doesn't allow you to see Stairways to Heaven by Fred Silva, which is a great film on the same subject, do watch this DragonQuest: Sacred Sites of Britain. It covers the more Pagan-centered beliefs & practices associated with these sites and reveals the little-discussed realities of why Christian churches often co-opted sacred Pagan sites instead of the usual practice of destroying them.

Thank you for creating such a simple and wonderful film which honours the spirituality of our ancestors. We love visiting sacred sites, meditating, dancing in stone circles and giving thanks for their presence. We have had many synchronistic meetings at sacred places and find them humbling and awe inspiring. Heavenly :-)
