This subject is the most profound. I've had the same thing happen to me. Too much to type, I'm at a loss for words to express my feelings about this clip.

No one is perfect, and no one ever will be perfect. I think a lot of people think being married means having identical minds. Nope. However, there well ought to be very similar mindsets. Things in common. I feel strongly that we feel a profound union before making it "legal." What I wish everyone would get is that what we are doing in marriage is SHARING our lives with another. We are still ourselves and having life experiences, and yes, we fall down, make mistakes, and get it right too. That's what we are sharing, our lives. It can hurt as much as it can feel blissful. It's all there. And, it's a big deal. And, shared love grows exponentially over a lifetime. The loving and the fighting are as much a part of married life as anything else. I read somewhere, and I wish I could remember where, that married fighting is sacred. It can be! Both partners feel cleaned out, grow closer when passion is demonstrated, shared. That is the number one reason people have to feel that profound union before getting to the wedding day because it more than implies trust. Trust that I can always be myself and it is okay, preferred even. Alright, off my soapbox now. Married 40 years and counting...
