The Dual Nature of Grace

Available worldwide

The universe is infinitely supporting you. The revelatory power of Grace, the power which wakes you up to your Highest Self, comes in infinite forms. Sometimes Grace feels gentle and sweet. This is called Anugraha. Other times Grace pushes us and throws us in to a profound awakening. This energy is called Kripa. In every case, you are held by Grace's current. When you remember this, you grow.

Through heart opening back bends and contemplative inversions you will be supported and pushed to unfold your practice with Ashleigh Sergeant. Sometimes it will feel sweet, other times it will be scary. You will be safe, supported and held if you remember the universe is holding you—every time.

Dear Ashleigh,

Such an amazing Open to Grace practice. One of the bests I have ever had. I love your videos, the therapeutic ones, the ones where you theme more (like these one)- ALL of them. I will keep practicing with you and if I may make a wish, I would love to have a couple of more advanced videos too.

As I read your bio, it came to my midn that I might have met you in person back in 2009-2008 in Bogotá? I was in that same room with JF. Sweet memories.

Sending love from Germany,

xx sandra

Oh @ashleighsergeant Oh Ashleigh! Your classes are my faves. I'm so glad to be back on Gaiam since the glitches are fixed. I saw on your instagram that you have more classes coming! Yippee for my favourite and most inspiring yoga mentor :)!!

energiayoga, posted on May 23, 2015

Was not challenging as a whole but had some great advanced poses for those ready for it. Felt great after. Thank you!

Ashleigh, this is my third week off from work with a herniated disc, your back pain yoga videos have been my constant throughout this whole journey. I attribute most of my healing from your videos, thank you so much!

I'm so glad to hear this! make sure to stick with the therapeutic classes and take it easy to help rebuild strength and health in the low back before doing more difficult postures. Anusara Therapeutics for the Low back is one I repeat over and over again. Take care.

Hi Ashleigh! I hope you see this :) You are such an inspiration! You are strong, knowledgeable and your energy is so contagious...thank you from the bottom of my heart. Through my practices with you, I have become so much stronger too :)

Thank you so much for this super sweet response. I'm so grateful for the new notification system GAIAM has in place because I was alerted immediately that you posted this comment---so now I can respond on time!

I'm touched that this practice resonated with you so deeply. You are SO strong, we just have to remember our strength and consciously cultivate it (lovingly) each day.
Please continue practicing with me, I love this beautiful connections. Also my website, has a lot of great upcoming events where you can study with me in person. I recently moved to Costa Rica and will be leading lots of awesome events down here next year. Hope we can meet in person sometime.

much love,

Hi Ashleigh!

Thank you for your sweet response! I have found your website and I also found you on IG! I love your journey and thank you for sharing.

My goal is to absolutely practice with you in Costa Rica and an even wilder/crazier goal is to go through a Teacher Training with you! I have some training under my belt with Yoga Fit and I will be learning to teach Kid's Yoga next weekend at a local studio, but there is nothing at all like the ability to learn with a true spiritual and physical guide like yourself.

I hope to meet you soon, Ashleigh! Until then, I will keep learning as much as I can through this medium and possibly sign up for a web based class that I noticed you offer on your website!!

Much love and light,

Tiffany Bush, Denver, CO

Dear Tiffany, It's so nice to meet you here. Thank you for your support and congratulations on committing to your dreams of coming to Costa Rica to do a training--awesome! I'd love to continue the conversation with you and answer any questions you have so I can support you along the way. Please send me a personal email at:
and we can connect further!

That was beautiful. I love the way you teach, encouraging us to explore taking a pose deeper, to trust ourselves as we open to the support of Grace. Namaste.

WOW... the instruction was soooo good. I think this just pushed my practice to a new level - or released into it. I had some very profound moments. Thank you!

Mmm. Beautiful practice! Thank you for holding and sharing these teachings!

trinahsings, posted on December 27, 2012

Thank you for this pratice! For the fist time I did a drop back, something I never thought I would be able to do. Remembering I am always supported and allowing your gentle encouragement to push me further than I thought I could go helped me let go of the fear and suddenly the ground was there. Thank you! Namaste.

Great session and lessons learned in strength and grace. Namaste.

KateTT, posted on May 29, 2012

Very nice. Although I am not at a level for doing handstands unassisted, I modified handstand and Dolphin. All the other poses were totally doable for me and I loved the more detailed instruction and breakdown of the poses. Got into some of the stretches a lot deeper than I have in the past. Ashleigh has a nice soothing voice, cued right on and gave me time to get into the pose and focus on my breath.

Bestest handstand ever out of me, I achieved balance in that asana! Thank you thank you. Loved the pace, loved the intention. Namaste. :D I can't stop grinning

I really enjoyed this class and was able to do a few things for the first time. It was challenging for me and as an ex-dancer it still amazes me that my body is always finding new things. Thank you so much

grammce, posted on May 17, 2012

Beautiful theme, Ashleigh keeps bringing the intention to the practice in profound ways. Poses are more advanced, yet guided in such a beautiful way. Thank you for this practice.

Absolutely delectable practise, thank you. The philosophical insights are also very balancing, especially during a challenging period of time.

montlake, posted on May 15, 2012

It was nice to see the full backbend. I have never seen anyone do that pose as you did. However, other than the backbend and maybe the full splits, I didn't think this was an advanced practice - more moderate, as it was rather slow paced.

laumontemayor, posted on May 14, 2012

Loved this class!! I feel incredibly limber & energized after it. Will definitely be doing it frequently!

emmathefree, posted on May 14, 2012

This is a challenging class, but it has a nice, slow meditative pace. Loved it for this rainy day.

zengarden, posted on May 14, 2012

That was beautiful. I loved the settling between postures and your words invited a smile to my face throughout the practice. Thank you.
