This is a great practice, I wish it was longer. Dave is one of my favorite teachers.

Thanks so much for watching! I'm really glad that you've been enjoying the videos.

If you liked this one, you might consider checking out some of the backbending videos that I've filmed for the site. The flow is similar, but they're quite a bit longer.

Hope you have a great weekend!

What a great little video to get your day moving or ending. All the nice little moves to get it going. It spoke to me and I do feel energized .. ! yeah!

Hi Sarah!

You make a good point! I agree. While it feels great to focus stretches on areas of chronic tension, sometimes you get a deeper release if you focus on other supporting muscle groups as well. When I have shoulder tension, I've noticed that a combination of stretches that address the neck, shoulders and chest really seems to melt away the knots and kinks.

I'm glad that you've been able to stretch away some of the tension from your day-job!

I'm one of the millions who spend my work week twisted and hunched at a desk staring at a computer, and let me say the one word that came to mind during this practice "DELICIOUS"!!! The last few years I have dealt with cronic shoulder and neck tension due to my profession. So often my initial remedy in dealing with the tension is to focus directly on my neck and shoulders. This practice was such a nice release due to the combination of poses that focused not only on those areas but also with the whole body. I was reminded of my whole body's alignment is just as important as dealing with the problem area directly!!! Thank you!!! And I haven't even commented on how much I love the meditative and pose instruction... that I will save for next time!!!
