Hidden Origins: Embracing Unity (May 2016)

Season 2, Episode 5
Available worldwide

We need a plan of action to free ourselves from the enslavement of money and Michael Tellinger reveals such a plan to a live audience. By doing away with all monetary systems and embracing unity, we move into a higher state of consciousness. This creates a world free from any obstacles toward progress. Though it may sound daunting at first, starting local, with small towns and villages makes implementing this step-by-step strategy very easy. This workshop was originally webcast May 30, 2016.

I believe this is our future, but individuals are afraid to go first. I have been campaigning for Bernie Sanders and then the Green Party and most people I speak with agree our current politicians for the most part are not honest or ethical. They also say they would love to vote for ethical candidates in an ethical party, but since they have no chance of getting in they are going to stick to the unethical candidates and corrupt parties and pick the least reprehensible. What kind of action is that? What created the cynical belief in the masses that the good guys can't possibly win so you have to choose between bad and worse? This mistaken belief has given us Trump and Clinton and the meltdown of both corrupt mainstream political parties here in the USA. Our politics of fear and economy of scarcity cannot be sustained indefinitely and will be our fall or the making of us depending on how we respond to it. The young generation response to Bernie and now the Green Party gives me hope we will overcome this exploitation of the many by the few as a species.

If this message doesn't strike a chord somewhere in your being you need help. Ubuntu is the antidote to the insanity of a life enslaved purely to a mental agenda. Michael's message has so much heart, with a clear mind subservient to that heart.

I'm 23 years old and live right outside of Washington, DC. I feel and am oppressed every day by people in the generations previous to mine and from the people in my own generation. It is so refreshing to hear Tellinger speak on these issues. Keeps me going.

Love you,

Just to echo what Annie99 said, the new format of this show is really great. I love what you're doing! Thank you!

This concept of living has been going on for nearly fourty years in Summertown Tennessee ,,, called "The Farm" Stephan & Ina May Gaskins and several bus loads of people traveled from San Fransisco Ca to Tenn. after pooling all the monies together and bought a huge chunk of land then started what other people called a "commune" but it was a village just like what this documentary describes. It's still there. Whole families have been born and raised on the Farm. Look it up, check it out... Ive been several times and have learned a great deal about how I like to live my own life from the folks at the Farm. Mighty good people.

@TONY_RAIN, thanks for taking the time to write!
We actually have a great documentary on Gaia called AMERICAN COMMUNE that explores some of the history of The Farm. You can find that here:

All the best,

It has become obvious that the people who rule us don't love us and don't love this beautiful World and it's history. I love the idea of living without money, the more I think about it, the more it makes sense for all.
UBUNTU is apparently, set up in Cornwall but alas, the people who have done it are too buissey, so I'm going to see what I can do.
Love the series, thanks for all your hard work in this effort to save us and this planet.

Here in Western Pennsylvania we have a group of people who live in a township who wanted to catch the rain and the municipality has given anyone who wants it a barrel to capture the rain from their roof for whatever use they wish.. The Pennsylvania welfare system allows those who get allotments of food stamps to purchase vegetable seeds to grow with their food stamp (EBT) cards. More and more communities are open to having their empty lots where some building was that deteriorated to a condemned status to become a community garden where people are able to grow their own food.

In North Carolina there are empty green spaces in communities that are being used for gardening of food throughout the seasons. This is in areas that would have never thought of such a thing 10 years ago.

Everyone needs to stretch out and get going on these projects in their area and learn who else in on board with this as well and commune with them. Party and work with them. Contribute to a larger plot of land and communally take care of the crops on that property. Find unused green spaces and appeal to the owners to allow you to plant food, fruits and veg for the community or for a few families in your area. I was doing this in Pittsburgh with a group who is really making it happen through church members and youth rec groups. It can happen if you become involved...

I love the way you counter the negative with the positive and solutions to teach us how to speak to people about this shift and way we can live. It gives me so much hope and inspiration to see this WILL BE OUR FUTURE REALITY!! We just need to stay on course and not let anyone discourage us and try to bring them along if we can. We will lead by example and the rest will follow. The clock is ticking for a wonderful future and our new reality.

Blessing to you Michael

Michael (and Jay, and staff at Gaia): Congratulations on this really excellent series...you are such an effective, sincere and "present" speaker, Michael, and it's a pleasure to watch you present these very radical ideas. And as I watch these really inspirational talks, (and read your book, Michael), I am moved to share this with many of my friends and family, who I also know aren't interested as yet in subscribing to Gaia. But they might be, if they just got a taste of some of the shows on here, and if someone sent them a set of DVDs such as these talks, I'm pretty sure they would become intrigued, and continue to investigate your work, as well as those of others...It would promote this website, plus any of the speakers on it.

I would gladly purchase several sets of DVDs of your talks, to share around...isn't that what it's all about, anyway if we are fortunate enough to hear about something this important to begin with? But just sending a link to a website probably isn't going to stimulate many to go there and search around to find any one series they know little about, (the search engine for this site is really inadequate, guys!), but if they had something in their hot little hands, I figure they might get go ahead and watch it, and then also pass the DVDs around to their friends and family, etc. Even though we live in a very computerized "virtual" world, there is still something very powerful about holding a gift of something solid in your hand that someone thought important enough to send to you...

And wouldn't these DVDs be a source of extra income for you, too Michael? You still need that, don't you? I know everyone in the movement would gladly contribute to supporting you in getting this info out there...and since we aren't yet in a money-free society, we might as well use it to promote these truly revolutionary concepts!

I am not yet expert enough in all the concepts and ideas and answers to feel easy about approaching people, but, if I could slip a set of DVDs into their hands, then I could probably continue to talk with them after they've heard your really excellent presentations...Just some thoughts for all to contemplate and hopefully act upon...

Sending my very best and strongest energies for your continued success and safety...both you, Michael, and everyone at Gaia...

Hi Delent,
Go to Amazon.com and purchase one or more copies ( around $20.00 each might be cheaper if you buy more than five books) of Michael Tellinger's
"UBUNTU contributionism" absolute manifesto masterpiece ....and loan them out...Do Not give them away ! make sure you follow up with the borrower's
and ask them ...what they loved about the book....and ask how can we practically apply UBUNTU ?

We appreciate your kind comments on the series! Please do refer your friends and family to Gaia--our video streaming is available worldwide!
