I have taken this practice several times and always find something new in it. My back body feels energized and renewed. Thank you.

Hi SIENAROSE, wonderful to see more of your warm comments and see you exploring these practices.

I appreciate your explanation. Wonderful practice that has a very complete quality.

you are very welcome, nmildrum.

Just did this practice again...went back to it after exploring some of your other ones...
This one is so interesting...and effective...I was wondering about your thinking as you put this sequence together .... and why you made the decision to keep it all on or close to the floor...I have ideas about this but wanted to hear your reasoning...Thanks Kreg...such a helpful practice during hectic work week.

kregweiss, posted on October 21, 2015

Hi nmildrum, My 'thinking' with this flow was #1 to offer a more grounding practice as an alternative to flows that are often engaging with standing sequences and #2 to gradually move through the various back lines of tension. I wanted to integrate some poses that isolated individual muscles as well as bring in poses that expand full segments of muscle/fascial trains. While leaning more towards a 'yin-style' flow, it still has moments of engagement alas this is a practice that perks up your energy without requiring much exertion. Thanks, Kreg

thank you Kreg for another wonderful practise, I really feel more relaxed after this practise, the only thing I dont like at all, is that very anoying sound, tones, during shavasana, I cant relax during yoga nidra with this sound, I did not know that you are using this sound also, I need to stop yoga nidra for this, its really very disturbing, beleive me, I know what is yoga nidra, and I live among the trees and birds, I noticed other teachers are using this disturbing sound, that does not relax at all at the end, or this is something about MYO I dont know, but I will not use it for yoga nidra, after all its cutting the end of practise that I really enjoyed :(, Namaste:)

Hi strauss5marija. Thank you for your feedback. I believe those sounds you are hearing during savasana are crystal bowls. I appreciate that sounds like this are subjectively enjoyed (or not). I doubt any changes can be made any time soon (and there are some people who enjoy these sounds), so I recommend that you mute your volume during savasana when these sounds are being used in certain videos. Just like any other part of the practice, please feel welcome to modify to what resonates best with you. To make sure your feedback is heard well from the GaiamTV team, feel welcome to send them an email as well - they appreciate hearing from all the members as they continue to develop new practices. Namaste, Kreg

thanks @EeeGee for sharing your feedback - great to hear your positive experience and 'expansion' with this hatha flow :)

I feel like I have gained several inches in height after doing this practice! Truly, I am sitting taller and with a LOT more comfort! :-) Excellent, gentle way to stretch and realign. I always read comments from the Community in order to discover new videos to try - I was led to this one from a member's comment a few days ago. Very glad to have given it a try. Thank you, Kreg!!

Thanks Cheryl @cherylroby for sharing your warm feedback on this moderate level hatha practice ... expanding the back lines has such a wonderful energetic release (physically and emotionally)

So needed the stretching this class offers. Thank you!

Kreg this is easily the most productive and calming practice I have ever engaged. I feel so grounded and present, thank you.

This was a wonderfully grounding practice. Loved really focusing on the back lines. Hope to keep this awareness of those lines throughout the day. with gratitude to Kreg

kregweiss, posted on November 14, 2013

warm thanks @ColleenHL ... I aim to offer practices that are playful and allow a person to explore their individual space while encouraging some intelligence and mindful purpose to the sequencing

ColleenHL, posted on November 13, 2013

Another wonderful calming practice. You are one of my favorite teachers on MYO. I love the time you take with each asana. I also really appreciate the reminder to flex at the ankle to protect knees, and cautions for the lower back. Those kinds of details are often overlooked with diifferent teachers. Thank you so much Kreg.

Kreg, this is a very valueable class, but I did have some trouble. I have had 4 knee surgeries and this class involved a lot of knee positions. My hips are like plywood so I had some frustration with a lot of the poses. :) Definitely has great value for the back and hips, just wish that I knew how to modify some of the poses a little better! I am a beginner and have really enjoyed several of your other classes. Any resources on this are greatly appreciated! I will continue enjoying your classes and audio meditations, especially.

That's awesome Brittany/brri. Snow shovelling can be quite strenuous for the back. Glad this practice was a great way to restore. Namaste, Kreg MYO

Yesterday I shoveled what felt like 500 lbs of snow! Today when I woke up, my back was killing me. This practice was absolutely fabulous for my angry back. Thank you!

Hi allisondt, I am thoroughly happy to hear how this practice has helped your back. And warm thanks for your kind words. Namaste, Kreg MYO

Kreg has made an art form out of yoga. his voice and thoughful movements are poetry in motion - perfect meditation. I practice his moves as i wake in the morning to stretch my back, and firmly believe he has saved my spine. Thank you so much for the beauty in movement as much as the health aspect.

emilyjm, posted on September 28, 2011

Ahhhhh. It's been a rough week for me in terms of mental health, one symptom of which is always 'yoga avoidance.' This practice was what I needed. I feel like my entire being has had a long, relaxing sigh...

kregweiss, posted on September 28, 2011

Thanks victorina and poflow for trying out this practice today. I find this type of 'mild' hatha can be very nurturing when either the body or mind has some resistance to practicing. A nice way to gradually wake up the body and energy systems without feeling like you are working against that resistance. Namaste, Kreg MYO

Victorina, posted on September 28, 2011

Thanks for this class. Just what I needed!

A really great practice to release tension after a day sitting at a desk! Very calm and soothing, with stretches that are effective, yet not too physical or challenging.Thank you, Kreg.

mrenkow, posted on September 24, 2011

Good full body stretch... more of a stretch than a workout.

ElizWilley, posted on August 21, 2011

I've been experiencing a lot of back aches and tightness lately. I feel relaxed and rejuvenated after practicing the "Engaging Back Lines" video and am hoping it helps me to continue to feel longer and more open through the spine.

massrunner, posted on July 8, 2011

Thank you, Kreg for a wonderful practice. I had been feeling much tightness in my lower back and this practice brought much freedom and openness. It is always a pleasure to practice with you and to incorporate the spaciousness that it brings into my daily life. Namaste.
