Intelligent by Design, Fluid by Nature. Fluid is a substance that continually flows under an applied stress; smooth, flowing, graceful. Fluid Yoga is not a style, it is a recognition of life as ever changing, flowing from one moment to the next. It’s a way of life.

Fluid Yoga is a 60-minute vinyasa flow class with Kevan Gale is designed to begin you on your journey through these intermediate/advanced sequences. Beginning with a heat building standing practice and ending with a guided relaxation, you will find mindfulness and fluidity throughout this practice. Experience a practice that stretches and strengthens the entire body, with pinnacle postures including Eka Pada Galavasana, Wheel and Eight-Angle Pose.

This Level 1 practice prepares your body and mind for Kevan Gale’s Level 2 practice.

@BlissAngel Wow, thank you! I very much appreciate your comment and that you chose to come back to this video. If all goes well, I'll have some more videos for you soon. Next time I'm in Seattle, I would love to practice with you in person.

@reneea Sorry to hear that Reneea. Sounds like something the staff at MYO will have to look into.

Somehow I missed this one! Nice classic vinyasa class--it worked nicely for me today as an early morning practice.

Amazing practice, thank you so much, what a great way to start the day! Namaste

@arizonabb Happy to and glad you enjoyed it! @pleishman Thanks for trying the class. With all the great classes on MYO, I'm sure you'll find something that better fits what you are looking for. You might enjoy Sheryl Light's class if you are looking for a faster flow. Happy practicing.

I'm sorry, but this was not a challenging flow for me at all. I felt it was a basic stretching class with a couple of arm balances thrown in. I wasn't challenged and left feeling very disappointed. I would love to see you do a flow..flow..flow and then add a few arm balances/challenging poses, I can tell by the way you practice that you have an amazing strength...sorry!!

@Kaneki That was nice of Betty to recommend it. Thanks for taking the time to comment and for turning into a pretzel with me:)

Wow! I saw Betty had recommended this class and I'm so happy she did. Just lovely and enough challenge to keep me wanting to come back to this again and again. Thank you for turning me into a pretzel. :)

@kevangale thanks a lot for the link :)

Glad you enjoyed it. The strength will come with time and practice. I still remember when I tried to hold a down dog and tired so quickly. Check out Betty's article on building strength for some tips...http://www.myyogaonline.com/about-yoga/learn-about-yoga/8-tips-for-building-strength-in-your-yoga-practice

divs05, posted on November 19, 2012

Wonderful practice!! even though there were two three aasanas that i would not do but am sure be able to overcome that with a little bit of more practice. Need to know how to generate strength in my arms. Because When i tried practicing before an arm balancing pose i had ended up injuring the back side of my hand internally plus the wrist of my other hand.!! so when now i try doing crow pose or its variations,Eka Pada Koundiyanasana,Astavakrasana (Eight-Angle Pose) or the wheel pose my hands hurt moreover i cant gather that much strength for it.

The flow is just right to challenge a beginner without overwhelming .Thank you so much. You made my day :)

mrenkow, posted on July 31, 2012

This borderline advanced practice packed a lot of full-body strengthening exercises into one hour. I felt challenged throughout. The only thing I found distracting was Kevan talking almost the entire time in shavasana. Otherwise, great class!

kevangale, posted on July 19, 2012

Thanks for practicing with me. I just finished production of another sequence that will be online soon! Stay tuned!

I am not a big fan of fast flows but I really loved this one. the pace was fluid and consistent and not jarring at all. Relaxation was great! Thank you Kevan!

This class was awesome, just what i needed to kickstart my day thanks

DW_2, posted on May 23, 2012

This had advanced extensions I couldn't do but the variations were good and the flow stayed intact even though I couldn't complete every sequence. A good challenge for me and great meditation at the end. Thanks

Thank you for this flow, it was day 21 of my 30 day myyogaonline challenge, and it was all about breath awareness and fluid movements! Namaste!!!

NicoleUrdang, posted on April 5, 2012

This is a very invigorating, fast-paced aerobic practice with poses held for about three breaths each.
Personally, I enjoy staying in each pose for five breaths to really explore what's going on.
If you are looking for an extremely efficient way to incorporate many poses in a relatively short amount of time, and you are an experienced yogi, this would be just wonderful.

A very well balanced practice, thank you Kevin
One thing distracted me, the piano music that comes on towards the middle/end. It was just a bit unexpected compared to the other musics.
Thank you for the practice,
Namaste friend

Thanks for practicing with me! I love to hear from you and am honored that you took the time to practice and share your thoughts. We have one more video in this series that will be released soon. After that, we'll film a couple more sequences and provide you even more time to enjoy. Much happiness, Kevan

stefanierose0628, posted on February 7, 2012

Completely agree. With the exception of hurried transitions, one of the most comprehensive sequences i've come across in my practice. please keep them coming!

Jme, posted on February 7, 2012

Nice, really did like the structure of the class. It flows well from one move to another. But, it did seem rushed as mentioned. Would love a few more breaths ... Just a bit slower please. But I will definitely check out more of your videos. Thank you
