Beyond Belief: The Fun of Dying with Roberta Grimes (January 2016)

Season 5, Episode 1
Available worldwide

The road that leads to our final destination bears no pleasantries for anyone. But the final few steps, so says Roberta Grimes, may be the most fun anyone has in their entire existence. This is not a call for anyone to willingly endure the inevitable. Rather it is a rallying cry to live your life to the fullest. When you no longer fear death, you can finally learn to live fully. This interview with George Noory was originally webcast January 6, 2016.

Roberta Grimes is a business attorney who has spent decades studying nearly 200 years of abundant and consistent communications from the dead, quantum mechanics, and the nature of consciousness in order to learn, in detail, what happens during and after death. She shares her discoveries in her books, The Fun of Dying – Find Out What Really Happens Next, and the sequel, The Fun of Staying in Touch.

I have studied the bible thoroughly on death. I find it to be a SLEEP. The dead know not anything. Be careful of what spirit is talking to you. Test all the spirits if it doesn't line up with the word, It is not from God. If everyone who dies goes to Heaven WHY would Jesus come back.? 1 Thes. 4 study to show yourself approved.

Matt 5:18 (Jesus said)
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

I am not religious ...I am not a christian but I do know the bible. The law was the old test. ....Jesus supposedly only fulfilled sacrificial law...EVERYTHING else.....not one letter will not be thrown away until ALL prophecy be fulfilled.

My daughter was stabbed to death by some psychopath in the park....death is not fun. I think it would be better to say the afterlife is better....death should not be feared etc etc. There are so many people with tragic deaths...I don't think the choice of words for this book is very good. At this point in the interview I must stop. I wish her luck. She may be meant to speak to others....just not me. Namaste

enjoyed watching this interview so much that I purchased the book. How disappointing!

One thing I liked about Roberta is that she said she decided to follow Jesus’s teachings without the religion aspect of it. It’s not what I found in her book. A couple times she called the life review “judgment” which did not make sense to me, according to my own research, my experience and intuition. I seamed to me that she still has a solid religious view of the afterlife.

The garden where she said we end up first does not make sense to me. Reminds me of something I read a very long time ago. Also, about the zones where we end up according to our Earth location… what? so I am European, all my deceased family lived in Europe, most of my dear friends lived or are still living in Europe, but I live in the US with also family and friends in the US. Where does that leave me?

And where she definitely lost me is when she talked about the dark place where drug addicts are stuck, in a pile of naked dead bodies trying to copulate with each other. Come on!!!!

My 5 stars are for the quality of the interview. But not only I returned Roberta’s book but I won’t follow her work any further. She looks like a lovely person and I am sorry that this is the way she looks at the afterlife. Not only it does not make sense but it does not sounds like fun at all.

I believe in the afterlife and i believe that my dad is well and happy there- also a friend who died came to me and told me it was so cool being catapulted out of his body....and i feel my dad around. but in some way i feel this interview is dangerous. I have been suffering from depression since my dad passed and also have dealt with a severe chronic illness for 30 years- in some ways the way her voice was disneyland cheery and also just the things talked about would make some people want to leave. I know george brought that up and she said no of course people should not....

E=MC2 everything is energy. I personally believe grief is untangling from the physical presence of the loved one that has left. If we spend time with people we energetic entangle with them... and all of a sudden their bodies are gone... we call the experienced physical loss of the person grief. But their energetic existence can still be around.

We are here to learn to love completely and unconditionally. It sounds so simple, but gosh, how we humans complicate it!

qualteam, posted on January 7, 2016

She never got into this topic. The Disneyland aspect of the afterlife seemed to be too pervasive.

Some good points but mostly only a very small part of the 'story'......

Her words would carry a lot more weght if she had ever had one or both of these.

I really enjoyed this episode. Its a good reminder that I need to forgive myself more and not take my life so seriously and stress out!

A lot of people talk about a system to trap beings when they exit the body to keep them here as slaves to the elite. I've come across at least 3 different credible resources that talks about this. One says that this stations is somewhere near our Moon where you are implanted with a fake death and sent back here for re-incarnation. Another says there is a grid around earth that prevents us from living and once caught, you are put back into a body.

Question is, is there a way to detect it and get around it?

Would anyone at Gaia TV have any information on this?

fg2023, posted on January 6, 2016

I don't believe we are trapped, caught nor slaved against our higher self will... I believe the soul chooses willingly to come here because it has meaningful reasons and lessons to learn that the ego is not yet able to understand. The key is to evolve, then we pass thru any possible traps because we no longer have attachments, therefor we become non-attachable, non-trappable... Only the ego fears being trapped, not the soul.

This was a fun episode to watch. If you have not read THE SYNCHRONICITY KEY by David Wilcock, this episode further validates chapter 8 of his book; "Mapping the Afterlife". This chapter goes into much more detail of everything discussed in this episode.

The Law of One also discusses the point that we must continue to reincarnate all the way through 3rd and 4th density existence in order to transition into 5th density existence. Once 5th density is accomplished (if memory serves correctly), reincarnation is more voluntary, as service to others, rather than mandatory. According to the Law of One, Jesus (Jehoshua) was a high level 4th density being when he incarnated as Jesus. Once he accomplished Ascension in the Light, after his death, he returned to 4th Density existence and soon after, having mastered 4th Density, transitioned (Graduated) across the boundary into 5th Density existence.

There is also an excellent film, based on a true story, on Gaia called ASTRAL CITY that also validates this episode and Wilcock's book mentioned above.. I have watched it twice.

Thanks George - and SuzannaB@gaia - for all your good work!

I love this topic, and the guest has apparently done a lot of research. Maybe it's me, but the interview seemed a bit disjointed. Too many interruptions and bizarre questions.

art heart, posted on January 6, 2016

I agree with Wayne. The guest was clear and knowledgable about her topic. She had much to say. I would have loved if she would have been able to finish her paragraphs of thought without being stopped mid stream. The interview was enjoyable but frustrating at the same time.

I just loved, loved, loved this interview. And, knowing that i can go skiing once I leave here, brilliant. Have not skied in 16 years, due to knee injuries. But say 40 years from now I can pick it up again, yeehaa. And also, my other passion, Holistic Horsemanship which I only started 4 years ago, I can continue with. GREAT!!! Looking forward to skiing with my father, he died 41 years ago.
