Great practice but the music really bothers me....

Janet Stone, posted on October 20, 2015

@bluejellier my apologies that the music was bothersome to you. There are other videos on this library which have less emphasis on the music. Might I suggest Mellow Flow?
Thank you for your feedback,

Thank you so much for creating this amazing class. I really enjoyed it and feel phenomenally better after exploring the practice. This is the first time I have practiced this video. I have been exploring the videos on for about 3 years now and so far I have only been listening to the videos through the standard speaker on my iPad as I practice the various sequences. This evening while exploring your video I decided to plug the iPad into my acoustic guitar amplifier and I am so glad I did because the music you chose to accent your soothing and perfect guidance really added to the rejuvenating magic of your sequence and flows. I really like the music you chose. I really enjoyed the richness and fullness of the sound. Listening to the practice through the amplifier really added to the magic of the experience and I felt submersed in the sound as if baptized in the healing vibrations of your voice, radiant spirit embodying your wisdom and expertise, and the richness of the fine musicians you chose for the soundtrack. I even was experiencing various ethereal watery visionary experiences. I recommend others explore the amazing experience of a rich musical landscape to bath in while practicing the sequences. are an amazing person and I love you of course and I hope you inspire others to enrich their practices with such rich, robust and full sounds, encrypted with a powerful and sophisticated divine love. Peace :)

@mwoi747 thank you for taking the time to plug so many ways. This is great to hear the difference it made and also the appreciation for the music offered. My dear friend who started YogiTunes and Shaman's Dream to offer compassionate and powerful music to engage a deeper breath rhythm and we worked together on making this come alive and it moves me that somewhere, someone could feel that.
Om Hrim!

@mwoi747 - Music can certainly make the practice more rich. Very well said.

This is the key word for this practice of yoga, is showing up again and again, whatever our current state of mind/being/circumstances.
So delighted to have this offering and hope to meet you on the mat.

This was wonderful. Thank you Janet.

If you have a moment, could you please write down that Sanskrit phrase pranat pradam...I tried to google it with no success.

I craved a bit more time in savasana at the end; otherwise, very creative and balancing.

Janet Stone, posted on November 4, 2014

Nicole, thank you for reaching out and find below A translation for this beautiful offering. It reminds me in all times that I am not as separate as I imagine.

Yes, to the long savasana and I attempt to encourage folks to take this time after the practice. OM

The Invocation
om purnam adah purnam idam
purnat purnam udachyate
purnasya purnam adaya
purnam evavashishyate

The Personality of Godhead is perfect and complete. And because He is completely perfect, all emanations from Him, such as this phenomenal world, are perfectly equipped as a complete whole. Whatever is produced of the complete whole is also complete by itself. And because He is the Complete Whole, even though so many complete units emanate from Him, He remains the complete balance.

It's been a while since I last did this practice and I just finished. I was reminded how amazing this was. Janet, you're amazing. Your depth, compassion, strength, and softness is so inspiring. Amazing flow. Thank you. I feel strong, present, and at peace.

@123amber Despite that song (I almost didn't practice due to your comment but checked it out) - the flow brought great presence which trumped the music... Annoyance is a great thing to work with! Maybe another day- the song didn't last long and I hightly recommend the full flow.... or maybe never! I get how music can really make or break a practice too.

heartsopen, posted on January 31, 2014

The presence was kept.... awesome flow!!!
