The Earth's surface emits a constant stream of electrons, which neutralize the disease-causing free radicals in our bodies, which cause painful, chronic, inflammatory conditions, which can be reversed by the practice of grounding and using grounding resources.

Nature Deficit Disorder is a recently identified syndrome of chronic, inflammatory conditions, which manifest in an array of body aches and fatigue, non-restorative sleep and a poor immune system, among other complaints, all of which are caused by staying inside all day and wearing shoes at virtually all times thus, depriving people of the naturally-healing electrons, which constantly flow from the surface of the Earth.

The practice of making regular skin contact with the Earth, like taking barefoot walks on the beach or on the grass – or better yet – swimming in natural bodies of water – have been clinically shown to help heal chronic inflammatory diseases in 95% of all cases.

great subject….I love nature, and feel really really good when I am with her. To me this is a no-brainer…this idea that nature can heal. Ive studied shamanism and live near native land, yes, the earth is our mother. Loved the idea towards the end there was a small blip about the Shuemman (sp)resonance, the frequency of the earth.….Yes, if we can raise our vibratory rate to this frequency major healing can happen. Like lizards and starfish regrowing severed tails. I like the idea of a grounding wire pads so we can ground when we've gotten lost on the internet. Wish there was some direction on how to make or buy one. Also, loved the homeschooling family….My only drawback to this film is the hoaky music….way too dramatic, and the people holding up signs. What's with that? I would like to hear their lovely voices. So great intension folks, would love to see more from a different approach. Namaste.

just go read some articles on grounding rather than wasting your time on this movie. Although they clearly had some money, it appears to have all gone to spinning camera's and name brand cold weather clothing. I would never show this to any rational thinking person as an argument for the topic. Overly dramatic music and poorly crafted attempts to weave in GMO's and even aliens....come on. This movie makes me sad and angry becasue it just further supports the idea that grounding is for crack-pots. I believe grounding could be great, and it seems like it should be fairly easy to have more actual studies done on it. The budget should have been spent on replicating the retina study instead of this movie.

I got queasy from the rambling camera work, confused by the unfocused information, and all I am taking away is that I need to find a better source for theinformation I thought would be in this documentary.

didiwakeyou, posted on May 8, 2016

It would be interesting to me to see further evidence that grounding is a reality.I need to see and hear the science behind it all. I also noticed that there is a significant and pricey commercial industry related to grounding.
I though about the times I walked barefoot in the park on grass or on a beach and came to a conclusion. No science here. Grass feels cool against your bare feet. Sand squishes between your toes. These are sensory experiences, feel good experiences. I think it's as simple as connecting to nature with or without shoes that can be responsible for the health benefits cited in the video.

Another free and true option for healing! This was a great film to watch after seeing Burzynski's Movie and researching Jim Humble's work. I think the time is nearing where the pharmaceutical industry will be revealed and real health will be allowed for all!

Yay!

I think they were asking for a way to filter out the titles that you cannot view due to location restrictions. I second this request!! it is annoying to have to browse through so much to find something that can be seen outside the US.

I have been really interested in learning about grounding and was excited to find a documentary that went in depth on this subject...unfortunately that is not what this film did at all. I applaud their effort and their obvious passion for the subject, but they really, REALLY failed at getting their intended message across to the audience. I don't even fully understand what their intended message was- it was so all over the place! The music was ridiculously over dramatic, too loud and continuously building up to a climax that never happened. It was like the entire film was one long intro. I just kept waiting for the intro to end so the actual film could start. Also, the narration was extremely over -the-top. A good documentary sets up good questions to get things going in the right direction, and then lets the interviewees explain their stories, histories and points of view. And then with good editing, the filmmakers weave it into an organized story. This guy did nearly all the talking for every subject they interviewed- and then just showed film footage of the interviewee doing random things while the narrator was speaking. It was so bad, I really felt that the film was unnecessary and could've just been a radio /audio program. But it's not just the music and over-narration (which was annoying, but I could've lived with it.) It's the way the information was presented that really ruined it for me. There was no flow or organization to the "subjects". Each one was focused on for less than a minute, before they would bounce over to another one, and another one ,(etc)- each time giving only the smallest hint of info about it, before bouncing back to the first for another short minute and doing it all over again. It was a series of sloppy teases. It wasn't just that the film didn't delve deep enough into its subjects, but that the depth that it covered was so woefully inadequate, that I saw no reason to even show some of the interviews-they literally appeared to be pointless. And why bother with all those scenes telling us the date? There was no chronological order whatsoever. We did not even need to see those scenes. If Heal Yourself for Free was just meant to be about ALL the different ways you can heal yourself..for free, then some of the side and diagonal steps the filmmakers took could be excused as just unfocused. But they presented it as a film about grounding, so I expected to actually learn about grounding? It was painful to get through and took more than one try to do it. If you have the patience, go for it because there are definitely some gems within. You just have to strain to find them. "Hater" is a completely unnecessary term which will obviously be applied to my comment soon (y'all should look up that definition in Urban Dictionary-no one who has expressed disappointment in this film thus far has demonstrated any "hating" qualities) evidently hating now means stating facts that others don't want to hear about. But i have no problem with the filmmakers themselves nor their goal-just the end result. It's not hating, it's just a very sad reality.

stellaforever1, posted on July 13, 2016

I don't think you are a hater.

Totally agree. I'm on board with grounding and I don't need any more scientific studies because I've experienced the benefits. But I wish this would have been a more focused documentary. I appreciate how passionate the filmmaker is and that he dealt with the sceptics, but it's such an unfocused film. What was the connection between fractals and grounding, the astronaut interview and grounding, GMOs and grounding, the moose dying and grounding? What was with the drama of the necropsy?

I do see through the bad film making and am inspired by the potential of grounding, but hopefully the next film he does can be more focused with less preview music.

I am so glad to see an update to the first video. I bought a kit from Amazon. I only used it at night until my back pain stopped. Now I see more ways to get more benefits from it. I think it was very well made it moves along changing scenery and changing locations and bringing up different things that people have experienced. I am so glad that Gaiam TV is available and that I finally signed up. Thank you.

music way too loud. I am interested in watching a documentary not a music concert. I could not hear the dialogue.

Whitelfmage, posted on August 16, 2015

How do you go about getting the equipment needed to ground yourself while sleeping? List of items needed would be helpful

patsykimbro, posted on September 26, 2015

I bought a grounding mat on Amazon. The kit had the original video & a tester to check if your house is properly grounded. And you can use the mat like when you are watching tv or reading.

I am not a film critic so I can't say well made or not. I can say it was fair in that it reported opponents' point of view as well as the views of supporters. And yes, it did seem to wander all over the place, as a commenter said previously, but that proves the point of the program. Everything is inter-related, connected, and until we learn to flow with the current of nature, we will be disjointed. sick and a very destructive force in the universe. It was a most relaxing hour and 17 minutes, informative and important. To the "haters" I would say, let those who have ears (for this message) hear.

Hi there, Can somebody send me this video since I am in Australia I am not able to watch it. Dying to watch it.

Will be much appreciated. Yesterday I was able to view it but not today. Why is that so? I could not finish watching the entire video.

I have used earthing devices daily for several years. This documentary was disappointing in that it presented the topic in an extremely disjointed and meandering fashion and was often way off topic. I don't doubt that they had the best possible motives, but their delivery was not effective. This was about and hour and seventeen minutes, with disciplined editing they could have made this into a good 20 minute documentary.

taldendifer, posted on June 16, 2015

Great film. Well made. Please disregard the negative and critical comments about the film :) There're always haters in the group! The message of the film is easy to understand and well presented. I'm super stoked to start applying more grounding to my daily life!

mikemarsicano, posted on August 2, 2015

i love the message here but i'm also in the camp that the delivery is not optimal for evangelising the grounding phenomena.

For instance they mention a town in alaska that had all these wonderful case studies but after just mentioning it they moved on prematurely. if they had gone into those people's stories more that would have helped. I wanted to know more about how that hotel decided to market grounding. That story was also glossed over. My final point for now was that the heavy handed orchestral music was distracting and never seemed to change pace. a lighter touch on the music would make listening to the message easier.

clearly they are on target with message and the science, yes. but they needed to get some volunteer professional advice on production from someone with industry experience. clearly they had the connections to do that and should have.

robinson.kenneth, posted on June 22, 2015

So, if someone doesn't think a film is well made or isn't wonderful and offers that opinion then they are "haters". Really?

rustypaladin, posted on June 16, 2015

Well, I have to admit, after watching your VERY thought-provoking documentary on grounding, I was fascinated and inspired as well. I aim to make grounding a daily effort in my life and will look forward to whatever benefits it will provide for me. Thank you very much for you inspiring, uplifting presentation!

"Grounded" changed my life. I hope this new video has all the information contained in "Grounded," which I found at my local library on DVD.

Now, I make grounding sheets for free for my friends out of Amazon parts and 3M metal repair foil tape. People are curing themselves. Wheeeeee! My goal is to turn every non-trauma hospital in the world into a laser tag arena by 2050. If you think earthing is a hoax, then electrons must be a hoax and I must be a 3M sales rep. Besides, the debunkers couldn't debunk themselves out of a wet paper bag.

The concept is one that is likely interesting to anyone who chooses is drawn to this type of film. The idea behind it resonates with me. Unfortunately, it was painful at times to watch the movie. I know it's easy to be critical and I applaud the hurclean effort to complete the documentary and make it available to for me to view. If not for that appreciation I would have not made it to the end. The dramatic music alone just goes on and on and on. Still, I recommend watching. Just be aware at the start that you may want to not see it all the way through.

Western society has forgotten and is being reminded through cause and effect - what is most sacred. I have lived within this philosophy for most of my life spanning forty years. I remember nearly thirty years ago after my son died I was told to hug a tree, I felt silly but when I connected all the dots, all I had learned from living through trauma, illness, medical malpractice, and brain injury... and the sensitivity related to the modern world the matrix of nature, holistic healing and the lifestyle you choose teachers human kind more than a single moment at a glance can teach. I was so sensitive I could hear the electricity in the house... I could feel cars miles out of sight, I felt like a superhero waking up. Crazy but true. I had to move to the mountains to begin to heal my brain and my body, that was fifteen years ago. We are energetic beings... vibrational... it is ok if you don't understand it all however it is important to open your mind and heart to all information otherwise life will present you will the tough challenges with the life lessons to show you what you are too frightened to see. This movie is a small look into the truth and the facts life will and can demonstrate.

I enjoyed having the information, but it was a difficult film to watch all the way through. Badly, badly made. Jumped all over the place. I think it's important information to get out there, but this film was painful to watch.
