Hempsters: Planting the Seed (2010)

Available worldwide

Hempsters is a thought-provoking and compelling documentary that will not only encourage all of us to take action, but move us one step closer towards a more sustainable planet. We follow along with seven activists as they fight to legalize industrial hemp in the United States.

With over 25,000 products that can be manufactured using industrial hemp, it is a solution, not an alternative. Hemp, as an industrial plant, is used in over 30 countries. As a sustainable crop, it has numerous environmental benefits, including: reducing oil dependency, forest conservation, soil redemption and landfill use reduction.

I think what you Hempsters are doing great, more power to you and good luck. It is those working for Satan who don't want us to be free but to be in slavery.

The way it was explained to me is that, what the the government is is that if someone held a gun to your head and took all your money and before they left they handed you a sandwich so you don't starve! That is the government.

We are slaves. The government does not work for the American people. We serve them and they steal our money, our resources, the future of our children - everything we are. Why do we allow this to go on? I guess normal humans don't know how to overcome psychopaths. But, we better figure it out soon, or there won't be anything left!

I hate our stupid, greedy government! This film makes me so mad!! Hemp can practically save the world but the few in charge would have to change (and no one likes change) so they keep it illegal. Dumb-asses!

I bought my Hemp Socks, more than twelve or thirteen years ago, and they get better feeling as the years go by. I feel about them like the Child, and there favorite Blanket.

Glad this hemp documentary finally hits Gaiam. Hope its more aware audience puts pressure on government to change the ridiculous law and legalizes hemp..
