I've been doing this practice for several weeks and I finally passed the half-way mark. But I need to go research "bondas." That'll be my next learning session. What a wonderful journey to be on. Thank you, Marla.

Yes, it is fast, but just wonderfully cleansing and balanced.
I did add a couple of arm balances.
Thank you!

I loved the quick pace of the first half of this flow, followed by the more relaxed floor work. Thanks... this really brightened my day.

OneLove2002, posted on December 4, 2014

I enjoyed this practice. Yes, at times the pace is quite fast, but it never felt rushed to me. The practice maintained its meditative feel. Thank you @marlawaal. Namaste .

A classic practice with all the classic poses; thank you for this gift! A great AM practice for power yoga lovers. Added to playlist. XOXOXOXO

@NataliaPink - Sometimes the simple classic ones are the best. Happy you enjoyed the practice.

bettymcharlton, posted on November 20, 2014

The beginning sequence started faster than I generally prefer, but created warmth that helped deepen into postures later in the flow.

KeithA@GTV, posted on November 20, 2014

@ bettymcharlton - Glad you saw the purpose of the faster start, so the internal heat could open the body more later in your practice! Hope you enjoyed it.

Great class. Very challenging at times with less challenging options. The beginning flow was too fast with not enough time in each pose; otherwise, I really enjoyed this workout.

Beautiful class, I really enjoyed it, especially the begin part. I love the energy and warmth that sun salutations give. thank you!

I really enjoyed this practice- beginning pace was challenging, but the rest felt good after that great warm up! Liked the variations on happy baby and camel.

I really tried to make this all the way to the end. Very dificult. Too fast, not enought explanation about right aligment, just talking about...yes some important tings but also, disturbing me, with some other kind of not neccesairy informations, too fast talking, and finaly, the music, that I dont hear the first time, in MYO, when I need yo realx in yoga nidra its so disturbing,so I did not do it, very disturbig, for brane waves. Thats how felt. Thank you anyway, I did modifications for myself, thanks becouse I can do it, and yoga nidta out of qustion with this disturbing music, , I am not having problem, with anxieity, no , no, this music is far away from to be used for yoga nidra. I know what I am talking about. Namaste. )shaking hands, also, energy left out)

A very "old school" practice--which gives you a feeling of how yoga is transformational and changing. I'm glad to be a part of the transformation!

Energetic flow but I found the instructions a little scant at times and don't always sync with what is going on on screen. Felt like I was often trying to catch up and isn't very relaxing..

I feel great! Thanks for the practice! I have to say that I don't mind the short savasanas sometimes, so thanks for that, too!

hlporter, posted on May 28, 2012

Good warm up practice, but I would categorize this as intermediate.

suemarie, posted on January 26, 2012

First timer to this class and I so very much enjoyed it. Love Marla's soft voice and ease of transition into the poses. Thanks so much Marla.

Marla, this is a wonderful video. I loved the balance of energy and meditation. You are a gifted teacher with humble energy and warmth.

brunnerallison, posted on September 21, 2011

Loved the class! It just needs a longer savasana and for the audio and video to line up at the end. Thanks so much! I feel wonderful.

MicheleWetzelHillman, posted on September 6, 2011

Amazing what you can do in 53 min. This practice gets your heart pumping and then uses this to move nicely into stretching postures.

theolemma, posted on September 2, 2011

Please fix the audio at the end of the class! Other than that, I very much enjoyed this practice. :)

csevel, posted on August 24, 2011

This is a pleasant and well paced yoga class with many of the components needed for a well rounded practice...however, it is by no means an advanced class.

HelenPC, posted on July 28, 2011

Marla's classes make me feel at home in yoga. She creates a really special balance in her practices that I can count on for heightening awareness and stimulating a sense of grounded interconnection.

KathieOvereem, posted on June 25, 2011

bcblessing, posted on June 8, 2011

The video still lags behind the audio considerably. Challenging pace.

I coulnd't open the video, always start and stop

marlawaal, posted on May 10, 2011

The challenge of this practice lies in the meditative quality of repeating the sun salutations. If you are able to surrender into the flow and get out of your thinking mind, then you can experience the advanced simplicity of the 3 B's ... Breath, Bandhas, and Be-ing.

dukaine, posted on May 10, 2011

I must say, I wouldn't call this video advanced at all. It was a quite simple practice. I was expecting a more vigorous and more extended flow. This is definitely one I would go to if I needed an easier gentler practice.

bonniekayser, posted on May 8, 2011

Sweet practice. I too liked the pendulum metaphor and will take it as a gift into future practice. Thank you.

hirshson_2, posted on May 4, 2011

Pleasant class overall. I do prefer a little more variety in sun salutations in a nontraditional sequence, but I especially appreciated the pendulum metaphor as a way to come into it as a mediation. Thank you.

naturalyogini, posted on May 3, 2011

Great class. FYI toward the end of the class, the audio is faster than the video.

luisacorpuz, posted on July 2, 2014

this is very similar to going to a class- great workout!

calmarsh, posted on June 24, 2014

I take classes at Gold's Gym. This routine is very similar with much more explanation and some wonderful variations. This is the best substitute when missing a class.
